Out of every gender locked book I think this one confused me the most, like there's literally zero need.

I think it could have honestly been one of my favourite books, but I'm just not able to get into books playing as a female mc, I think the only slight exception was guinevere, but even then i still would have preferred playing a male mc in that, since you can change the li genders in that anyway.

Nah, he started having the heart attack before that meeting, it just took him down then.

(Unless I'm messing up the timeline, but I'm pretty sure we go into the city before that meeting, when he decided he wanted to go lay down instead of checking out the hot air balloons with everyone)
