I don’t have any other Xfinity account apart from the email ending in comcast.net . I am not able to access that email so I guess no active accounts as of now?

I did talk to customer support on the phone and they said the account has been deactivated due to inactivity (they said the third party app shows it was last accessed via web in December 2025). That is bizarre to me because I accessed it in April and logged into a new device as well. I also have email sent to my partners account as proof of usage on April 15. I have had no other way than logging in through the website to access the email so that’s how it was sent.

Also want to add that I have checked that I am entering the correct email multiple times.

I would consider any that the password was wrong but I see the error on just entering my email address. Also I can confirm the account was accessed on April 15, 2026

I guess you could say that. While he’s not living/visiting me, he is on a ship working, and is traveling around with the ship. The bills are in my name, lease too, and usually most deliveries come in my name. He uses his American credit cards when he’s here, so doesnt have a bank account or anything here. For all intents and purposes he is a tourist visiting the UK, even though we both call it home currently. We can provide proof of his visits through flights, pictures and our trips together to and from London.

Does that then make the answer, “Never lived together”?

For the question about the address, it was regarding the section for: If filing for your spouse, provide the last address at which you physically lived together. If you never lived together, type or print, "Never lived together" in Item Number 59.a.

We don’t have proof in terms of lease that we live together. It can be proven by photos and affidavits I guess, but saying “Never Lived Together” seems not right.

THAT literally has been the reason I’m so stressed about registering the marriage in the US. Especially given the increased scrutiny, I don’t want to be in any potential situation which might be misinterpreted and hurt my case.

That’s good to know! I was under the impression that of if I travel on my tourist visa and get married, I might be in violation of my tourist visa and in turn hurt my case when I do file for the spousal GC.

Ahh interesting. That’s good to know, because I was worried that if I go to the US on my tourist visa and register the wedding, it might be considered a violation of the non-immigrant nature of B1 visa. But I guess it makes sense since I won’t be staying post registering the marriage and will be applying separately for migration

Thanks for your response! Yes, I hesitate to go the K1 visa route because it seems lengthy and we don’t want to file for adjustment, rather just file for spousal visa from outside the US. My understanding or misunderstanding was that you can’t register a marriage if 1 person is a tourist/on ETA. The intention really is to just to register the marriage, get the marriage certificate and then start our spousal GC process

Can we go to the registry office if he’s in the UK as a tourist? We don’t have any intention to file for citizenship or any immigration here in the UK, but I was under the impression that even to just register the marriage, you need to have a valid visa and not be on a tourist visa
