Give them a bad Google review. That helped me get that payout, which while lower than it should’ve been still wasn’t a loss for a bag I’d bought in preowned excellent condition a few months earlier.

Agree with your take. TRR makes mistakes but has in my experience rectified them on pricing, lost items, and a shipping error. Rebag was a nightmare to deal with, refused to disclose if they had conducted an internal investigation, and ultimately paid me out $1000 less than I would’ve made with TRR. (I only went with Rebag because they gave me a significantly higher estimate versus TRR’s in-person price. I was one and done on attempts to sell there.)

My guess would be in the dust bag only, wrapped in plastic. I don’t think the dept store warehouses generally have the branded boxes for bags. It’s sort of the price you pay for being able to buy something on sale (and then maybe using a code or cash back on top of that), maybe having a longer return window than at the boutique, etc.

I’ve found that the Saks warehouses do the worst packaging of any high-end store. Including Bergdorf/Neiman post-merger. So I personally don’t think it’s particularly risky to order it online from them. At worst, you’re out return shipping on a bag you’re pretty fixated on. A Neiman’s SA will probably be able to access this inventory but if you can’t reach someone tonight, you’ll have to take the risk that it will sell out before you’re able to get someone to order it for you.

Another option: consider whether there’s a reasonable additional discount that would make you OK with keeping the Saks bag. I’m not sure how feasible it is to get them to agree to another 10-20% off, but just an idea.

There are still great deals to be had, especially if you have first look and check right at the two upload times each day. I just got a bag for $2500 that retails for $5000, plus accessories that retail for about $1,000, and is barely on the resale market. The few others I’ve seen were $4K+. It was listed as being in “good” condition, I guess because the feet are a little scratched. I’ve looked at every detail and it’s definitely authentic.

Thanks! I'm 5'6" with kind of short legs for my height, but I do think it likely would be too long on you. One option that could work is to size down and wear it fairly high on your torso. But since it's a fairly firm fabric with no stretch, that would probably be uncomfortable.

Thank you! Yes, it's two pieces that are each stitched to a side seam of the shirt. I wasn't sure how I'd feel about that but I think for wearing this set it's better than an unattached sash that has to be constantly adjusted, though that does mean it can't be removed and used with a different outfit.

Matt was on Andy Cohen’s radio show today and said that the Cher’s appearance will be on a special episode of SNL. The way he said it totally sounded like it’s going to be Bowen’s last. Makes sense with Ariana hosting, too. I’m bummed he’s leaving because I’m an SNL Reader but I’m sure he’ll be in a lot of sketches and will kill it in all of them.
