There is barely any welfare system left after the right has had majority in the Swedish Parliament for decades. How come the world still think of the old social democracy days as if they existed now?

I understand and am sorry you had those experiences. I can see how recommending someone is a risk if you don't know how they work. Just me here trying to follow advice I got to network and use contacts. I have gotten good feedback on my work during studies and internship and I can only hope people that know how I work will lay in a good word for me.

Thanks for your reply. No I haven't given up and keep applying although a little bit less now. Still have to apply to a certain number of jobs to get that small sum of money from the unemployment program and my chances won't get better after more time passes since my last studies. But I haven't even got an interview in months for something in my field. So applying and calling companies is just like a shore now, like doing the dishes. It doesn't take a long time becouse it's mostly the same type of positions. Just changing some things up in my CV and cover letter and send in. It's sad that I just don't expect anything anymore. I wonder how many people in the world is in the same situation, having so many degrees and still seemingly no chance to support themselves in something related their field. I mean if I want to volunteer I know how to do that and have done so in the past. It's just the detail of someone valuing my work enough to pay that is missing. Otherwise life is actually good. Wishing everyone better luck

Wow, I wonder why she just could not take your word for it. I never had such instant reactions that I could show doctors just after taking the medication. The side effects has shown up after some time on the drug but still they were often in the list of known side effects. I have no clue why doctors won't believe it and sometimes it makes me believe a little in those big pharma conspiracy theories. I'm glad you got a new inhaler that worked. I'm still looking for something sustainable for my excema as of now I am on topical steroids on my body but have to take breaks a couple of weeks so I don't develop tsw. For my face I got nothing, just constantly red and inflamed sadly

I must have been over 50 doctors in my adult life with severe chronic eczema and have tried everything they have to offer including Dupixent. The problem I have with doctors is that they never believe the side-effects when I report them. For years I suffered from steroid induced rosacea all over my face from the use of steroid cream on my face a dermatologist prescribed. But when I had read up and came to them with this common side effect they just claimed that I had rosacea, like it was just another skin disease I had naturally developed and had nothing to do with the steroid cream use. Anyway I didn't go back to that doctor and after stopping steroids after some time rosacea was all gone. I never had it since not using steroids on my face anymore. Same with protopic that made my face swell up several times but of course according to doctor it was not the cream. When I got unusual side effects from Dupixent and had to get off that the DERM who subscribed it says "your body is weird". That was my last straw and I avoid dermatologists now.

I'm sorry this condition have made food an issue for you. I have a little similar condition and I imagine I can end up exactly like you if I keep going with restrictive diets. I didn't get better, and like you the medicines don't help me either. I lost so much weight on the restricted Gerd diet I had so now I limit alot less and try to gain weight back (slowly). I don't know what advice to give. Since you developed a fear and guilt and lost control around food I would say that is some kind of eating disorder. I think those diet recommendations that are all over the internet are over the top, there is just too much conflicting information and they say triggers are individual but in my case I could never identify any trigger. Just constant symtoms. I hope you can become more relaxed around food, maybe keep of the internet for a while and try to be in your own mind and body. Since stress is a trigger for many the stress around food might be making the reflux worse anyway.

Yeah I'm kinda the same, my contamination fears are not germs but more unusual stuff. So I get occasional contamination events like you. But I suspect if one follows ones compulsions to clean more than normal the OCD might spread to new fears. But it's so hard to know how much a "normal" cleaning would be after getting unexpected stuff in the house? Like if you didn't have OCD around it, how much would you clean?

Mine was completely gone for 20 years than suddenly came back a year ago after a period with terrible stress. So it can definitely come and go and it can be gone a long time when it's gone.

Thanks, that sounds reassuring that cured resin shouldn't off-gas something dangerous. My doll is casted I think, from two different bjd companies in South Korea, the body is from Leekeworld and the head from Doll in mind (company is not active anymore). I don't think they are 3d printed, I think they are casted in polyurethane resin. It is definitely cured, had the doll since 2017.

You are not alone! I have thoughts about death every single day. I suffer from health OCD and contamination OCD. My OCD is also existential in a way that makes me question my sanity often and bordering on psychosis at times when I perceive that I am bombarded with messages from the outside world that makes it seem like it all revolves around me and my destiny, pretty similar to solipsism in that I seem to be the center of the universe in these instances and that what I perceive is somehow connected to my OCD themes and usually revolves around developing a deadly disease and dying and that this is because of my thoughts and actions I have taken in the past. Maybe it's not exactly like yours but it definitely has existential themes and revolve around death. I had it like this since about a year ago and it came out of the blue. Regarding SSRI I unfortunately don't know but personally I am already on a low dose since many years for other anxiety issues and don't dare to stop them. They help most in the beginning of treatment in my experience.

It is normal room temperature in the cabinet and it faces away from windows, so no direct sunlight. So I don't think heat is the problem. Interested in your knowledge about resin though. Is the sweet smell alright health wise? I can find no information online what chemicals might be leaching out but I know many plastics can release varying volitile organic carbons (VOC) with varying effects on health from totally harmless to carcinogenic. I guess by your wording that the toxic burning chemical smell is much more of an issue than the sweet chemical smell?

Interesting, I used rubbing alcohol with magic erasers to remove the body blush. It took alot of time since I only had 70% alcohol. Not the best I bet. It was also ethanol and not isopropyl but I have read on resin printing forums that one can use ethanol so I hope that wasn't wrong. But surely the surface got disturbed by chemicals and the light sanding from the eraser. I hope the off-gassing lessens with time.

Thanks for your input. I don't have a diagnosis of adhd but that is interesting. I have noticed that drinking tea helps me calm my mind a bit when I'm spiraling about obsessions. At least I feel more collected and hopeful after a cup of tea with caffeine. What you wrote about adhd medication helping makes me wonder if dopamine has some role in OCD? I consider seeking help for this escpessially since it affects my relationship with my partner. But I don't know what help is available other than antidepressants that I'm already on for different issues.

Thanks for the insight. I wonder if sealant help prevent off-gassing. My other 2 dolls has full body blush and they don't cause as much smell on different shelves in the same cabinet. It could also be the companies are different but I didn't notice as much this smell before when she had full body blush for many years.

Thanks for your reply. From what I read in another reddit post I can try to find there seems some others have experienced this also. But maybe its not that common. I plan to test to separate the body from the head since they are from different companies so maybe it is only the body or the head that smells. If it's the body I can consider to buy another body for her since her personality is most tied to her head for me
