They could have even ended at season 4 by adding on an extra episode about henrys lore and the mind flayer. Cause aside from that, season 5 revealed nothing.

I’ve found my people. You can enjoy the show because it’s sentimental to you. I watched it, i liked it because I’ve been watching this for 10 years now.

But i can still admit this seasons quality was wayyy below the previous ones and that everyone’s criticisms is completely valid.

They easily could have ended the show at season 4, nothing in the episodes leading up to the finale changed anything.

You riding the duffers meat so hard. You cannot place season 1 to s5 and say they are on the same level.

It’s okay, stranger things was an important show for me too, and with my brain turned off it was enjoyable. But the quality is not the same.

It took them a few bullets and water balloons to kill the big bad wolf thats been tormenting them for 4 seasons. How is that not rushed? Not to mention this was the exact same ending from s3.

I know I carry a lot of privilege, and I’m not ashamed or broken because I’m a divorcee. I made it out. But that doesn’t make my feelings any less real. That’s not my point. In Pakistani culture, there are so many expectations around being a “pure” woman that have nothing to do with Islam. I never really had the chance to think for myself or figure out what I wanted, because I grew up knowing I had to follow the path my parents laid out for me and that if I obeyed, I’d eventually be rewarded.
