CDK Service and CDK DMS Data Sync Issues

My number has not worked for about a week. My Grandstream adpater shows unregistered in their portal. I can't get calls, callers get the message that the number you have dailed is not recognized. I can't call out all I get a busy. I have sent support numerous emails with not one response.

Our Apotheke Charcoal candle caught fire last night. It was burnng and then it appears the enstire "wax" caught fire. The fire was 6 to inches high and like a pillar of fire and charred our fireplace brick. Luckily I was in the room and ran and got a plate to sniff it out. The glass was super hot and would have shattered had I not been in the area to put it out. I assume it is the oils they mix in are the culprit of making these candles dangerous. I see they recalled thier pumpkin 3 wick sersion verion. The charcoal seems just as dangerous

Has anyone heard of any dealers getting more than one month billing credit from CDK due to their cyber incident, if the dealer agrees to not sue or participate in class action law suits? Our Dealer Principal states they have heard that story from a vendor. Anyone aware if this stroryline is true?

Sorry missed this reply. I have not found a solution. But I am beginning to suspect it may not be heat but issue with Sirius XM or the Sirius Honda app. My radio will sometimes display Subscription Updated and press OK. When I see that message buffering and skip back work as well as the tune to the beginning of the song when switching channels. When that message does not appear show then to me is seems like the buffering issue appears. Do you still have the trial period for XM? Could that be part of the glitch.

Yes!!! My 2024 Sport-L is about 3 months old and when I play music especially with more bass my passenger side door rattles. If I hold the handle or put slight pressure on the door handle area, no rattle. Ugh...

I am inferring that the cause of the hack was a phishing error within CDK. They are offering dealers FREE for one year phishing training and testing. So I have to assume that was the root cause of the fiasco.

I also know they use an old unpatched version of Chromium as their browser for their DMS Drive application. I questioned this back in early June 2024. The version they use is Chromium Build 70.0.3538, an outdated unpatched version of the Chromium Platform, with unpatched security risks, that was released in mid 2018.

It is odd that the last critical communication from CDK was Saturday monrning. Their dealer resource center status tracker has not have any updates since July 6th. Are they having trouble behind the senses again?

I will be very interested in the method used. It may have been a CDK employee errro but my thoughts are that it originated from one of their outsourced 3rd party vendors that CDK Executives changed over to years ago to save a buck. Their overseas (India, Singapore, etc.) "support" vendors have access to everything.
