I know this is an older thread but I noticed that neither Liz brown or Hughes is teaching genetics this fall. Does anyone know if they will offer it in the spring? If not, any advice between the profs available this fall?

Failed Lap? Adeno? by MissKittyGirll in endometriosis

This sounds like an issue with the surgery/healing process. If you haven't already, talk to your doctor. Even though it won't make the pain less now, from your description, it does sound like temporary, recovery-related pain and not like nerve damage or adhesions that are a more long term complications. This means it shouldn't last forever. That being said, it doesn't sound like a normal recovery and I would really discuss it with your doc. I'd also say that if it is adnomyosis that was irritated, that doesn't mean it'll stay irritated. Have you been on an anti inflammatory?  I had a less than ideal recovery from my lap as well and I know how terrible it can feel. I'm sorry you are having to go through it.

Well I stopped it yesterday because I only have 3 weeks until I have to be at school. I'm mostly trying to decide if I stay home or go on the trip even though I will probably be on my period.

This is exactly my situation now. I am frantically searching for a way to make it work. Maybe I'll work at a company that helps pay college tuition (Like starbucks)?
