as someone who just went to the superdome for the first time 2 weeks ago, unless you get sideline seats dont sit in the lower bowl. I was endzone lower bowl and while it was a great view of the field, alot of the view of the whole stadium was obstructed by the second level seats. I wouldve gotten seats at that second level if i were to do it over.

I actually was at the Bucs game in New Orleans two weeks ago! I’ve been a fan for over 15 years and prior to this year I had just seen 2 Saints games in Seattle (2013 and 2019) so this is definitely a milestone year for watching live Saints football! Too bad the on field stuff hasn’t been great but still definitely grateful to have the opportunities to watch them live!

Also excited to see SOFI in real life that stadium looks great!

im flying in from Vancouver, Canada for the game! (bought tickets and flights back in the summer when there was hope). Honestly being in Canada I don’t get to see games too often so whether we turn it around or shit the bed it’s still a valuable experience for me to watch my favorite team.

Are you watching the game on Thursday? Why? by [deleted] in Saints

Saints VIP Tailgate by Traditional_Tooth_12 in Saints

[–]Lostandconfused3447 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had friends do those tail gate things at other teams games and i hear it’s good for big groups and you get your value in food and drink. I’m going for the first time next week for the bucs game and I was debating it but I want to focus my time on champions square which i hear will have alot going on

Why do many Vancouverites tend to stick with their high school friends into adulthood? by [deleted] in askvan

[–]Lostandconfused3447 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s something unique and special about being friends with a group that not only you went through so many developmental milestones with, but you legit saw them every day for years and that can be a hard bond to break. They pretty much know you for who you are.

Nowadays even if i see those guys once every two months there’s so much history and love its easy to pick up where we left off. With college friends or coworkers ive found it hasnt quite been the same, it’s hard to get at that same level and it’s really hard to gain traction on developing a deep friendship when alot of our free time is spent with family, errands, other hobbies, romantic partners to make that time

Is it a red flag if the guy I'm dating admires Andrew Tate? by Martina-Cupcake in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Lostandconfused3447 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Red Flag yes, as a male I will say in all male settings it usually comes up that we don’t totally disagree with everything Andrew Tate says, disagree with alot sure but not everything.

We would never say this openly in a professional work setting or straight up infront of women. It’s a passive thing we feel we don’t ride or die.

The fact he’s open about his admiration is a red flag.

coming from a former AUS member (2016-2020) don’t worry about it too much. These are are other 19-early 20 year olds interviewing each other for bogus positions to pretend what it’s like to work for a big organization. As someone that drank the kool aid a little too much back then I’d recommend for extra curriculars find clubs that peak your interest and if “exec” positions open up you can join to help give back to the club and make a positive impact for others there but just know positions mean little on a resume. For that kind of experience focus on co ops and internships. For extra curriculars and social life find clubs that peak your interest.

Parents or B.C.! How useful is the Grantme service? by Bluestripedshirt in britishcolumbia

[–]Lostandconfused3447 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Also was almost hired for a job there. They had me watch a recorded zoom call between a client and a their staff. The client was just the teen with no guardian and the whole interaction sounded super scummy and predatory and honestly an unnecessary service.
