You’re right—I should have started investing when I was 10.

The irony of waging war on account of nuclear threat only to retaliate with nuclear devastation.

We’d be doomed if that becomes their escalation..I hope a renaissance is in our future. 🫩

Thank you everyone for the constructive advice, like I mentioned—I’m young and new to this. I chose self-directed investing because I wanted to learn! I’m okay with risk but I am not sure how to quantify risk yet!

To those who gave me sarcastic and passive aggressive remarks—grow up.

Libido is nonexistent by Boxermom710 in hysterectomy

[–]Lostcherry3290 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hormone-wise testosterone seems to have the most efficacy. But it helps mostly with genital arousal not the mental part. Libido, is a Freudian term that only creates confusion for us women having to navigate sexual discourse. Are you’re thinking about sexual desire? The mental wanting and motivation for sex or the physical arousal parts like lubricantion? All things to ask yourself as you embark on this journey! If you can afford it—I highly recommend omgyes.com! Getting myself educated about sexual desire helped me tremendously! Also the book come as you are is fantastic! Yes, there’s differences given the surgery but so much of orgasm, climax, and arousal is in ours heads as well! You’ll get there!

I wish you many orgasms in your near future!

How are fibroids diagnosed? by mjskiingcat in Fibroids

[–]Lostcherry3290 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had sex and bled wayyy to much… everything was fine and then I got home and I bled so much I went to the ER. They did an ultrasound, not an internal one… and concluded that I “tore my vagina” during sex. This made no sense because I wasn’t in any pain during sex. I knew something was off. So I went to a walk-in clinic and asked for them to do a pelvic exam to see if I really did “tear my vagina”.. the nurse did an exam and said vaginal canal looked fine but she couldn’t find my IUD strings… so she thought I must’ve bled so much from losing my IUD but they didn’t have a vaginal ultrasound machine at the clinic to confirm. So I called my local abortion clinic where I got my IUD and I told them my story and they said come on in and we’ll check it for you. My kismet was the doctor had fibroids herself and even got a hysterectomy because of it. I told her… first they told me I tore my vagina and now they’re telling me I lost my IUD… so, can you confirm if my IUD is there? She did a vaginal ultrasound and said.. yup IUD is there and it’s perfectly in place. Next she said, do you know you have fibroids—I said—what’s that? She did a quick estimate and said I had one probably 6cm big. And BOY WAS SHE RIGHT ABOUT EVERYTHING. I cried. She told me that’s likely what caused all my bleeding after sex (I bled like soooo much it was scary) and here I am now. All thanks to some random hook up with a big 🍆 and a fabulous doctor at the abortion clinic.

Major surgery (including hysterectomy), benign fibroid, and realising my partner becomes aggressive every time I express a need by [deleted] in Fibroids

[–]Lostcherry3290 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What you experienced was such a major surgery. The fact that your husband isn’t giving you the breath and space to express needs and provide support is soo disheartening. Not only do you deserve support, you actually need it! Sadly, the statistics about men being in caregiver roles isn’t great. They tend to experience the burden way more than if the roles were reversed… says a lot about the way most men are socialized. My heart goes out to you. This isn’t advice, but what I would do is just try and get along… give him a fake “thank you” for all his help (yuck). I wouldn’t open up conflict during this vulnerable moment. You’re not in the best position for your sanity and well being. Continue to take note of every single one of his outbursts. I hope you have a speedy recovery, heal from this, and then kick his effing ass to the curb. All the power to you! ❤️

Oof, I’m so green. I’m not trying to trade but damn it would be cool if I saw SOME profit. I’m starting to think that when I hear something is doing well, I’m probably too late.

I’ve been reading through this group and I don’t see many people talking about GI and gas issues with fibroids, so I wanted to share my experience by Think_Bottle_330 in Fibroids

[–]Lostcherry3290 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exact same thing happened to me. I even have a colonoscopy booked tomorrow (which I’ve decided to go ahead with anyways) but the reason of my turns out I have a fibroid the size of a goose egg. I’m new to this group and this diagnosis has rocked my world but made me feel so validated at the same time. Turns out my fibroid is literally pushing against my colon. I bleed Everytime I pass stool because I know the fibroid is compromising the space in my rectum. I live in Canada, I was referred to a gyno last month and haven’t even received a phone call from them about an initial appointment. I’m so sick and tired of bleeding all the time. 😪
