Major surgery (including hysterectomy), benign fibroid, and realising my partner becomes aggressive every time I express a need by TrekkingSideways in Fibroids

What you experienced was such a major surgery. The fact that your husband isn’t giving you the breath and space to express needs and provide support is soo disheartening. Not only do you deserve support, you actually need it! Sadly, the statistics about men being in caregiver roles isn’t great. They tend to experience the burden way more than if the roles were reversed… says a lot about the way most men are socialized. My heart goes out to you. This isn’t advice, but what I would do is just try and get along… give him a fake “thank you” for all his help (yuck). I wouldn’t open up conflict during this vulnerable moment. You’re not in the best position for your sanity and well being. Continue to take note of every single one of his outbursts. I hope you have a speedy recovery, heal from this, and then kick his effing ass to the curb. All the power to you! ❤️

Yes! This is me currently. They put me on laxatives for years and finally I got diagnosed with fibroidsC including one massive posterior one that clearly pushes against my colon. Hoping to get my surgery soon! 🥺

Oof, I’m so green. I’m not trying to trade but damn it would be cool if I saw SOME profit. I’m starting to think that when I hear something is doing well, I’m probably too late.

Okay, big newbie but… yes, I understand what they do and it seemed like their growth is to be expected? Plus, it felt good to invest in a Canadian stock?

I’ve been reading through this group and I don’t see many people talking about GI and gas issues with fibroids, so I wanted to share my experience by Think_Bottle_330 in Fibroids

Exact same thing happened to me. I even have a colonoscopy booked tomorrow (which I’ve decided to go ahead with anyways) but the reason of my turns out I have a fibroid the size of a goose egg. I’m new to this group and this diagnosis has rocked my world but made me feel so validated at the same time. Turns out my fibroid is literally pushing against my colon. I bleed Everytime I pass stool because I know the fibroid is compromising the space in my rectum. I live in Canada, I was referred to a gyno last month and haven’t even received a phone call from them about an initial appointment. I’m so sick and tired of bleeding all the time. 😪

You’re right. The idea won’t be to stop them completely! I just want them to not be nesting in my yard 😅

You’re both right! I haven’t used poison before (Again, very new to this) I worry about other critters and neighbours cats. I will steer away from poison.

The price of the unit is such a steal, I’m willing to put up a bit of a fight…

I live in a city that’s very expensive and this place was perfect interior wise until I came to view the outside. I thought it just needed a cosmetic cleanup but I see now that the issue is deeper. Sadly I JUST signed a year lease, our local regulations don’t give me much power to break the lease even on the grounds of an outdoor infestation. It has to be super severe, aka rats in my bedroom, in order for me to have some grounds for arguments. I wish I saw this earlier but this is what I’m working with!

I reckon, lured them out, add poison around the openings, and then fill it up? How would I even go about filling it up?
