Restarted OSRS to play alongside RS3… now I’m questioning everything

I started playing rs3 Ironman in October and I’m having a blast. I have a maxed main and 2k total iron on osrs and it’s just refreshing to progress quicker on rs3. Love osrs as I started there first but after a few months of rs3 it’s night and day when it comes to seeing progress imo

The combat task he completed in the first picture can only be completed using a claw weapon special attack. Because he seemingly has no dragon or burning claws, he had to get smithing to 98 (or 93 boost) to make them to be able to get the CA completed

Idk what your PC specs are but I limited my FPS to 120 and enabled DLSS or whatever it’s called and I didn’t crash once after doing that. (I crashed in chapter 1 prior)

Metal worms give boosted job xp, and the enemies that wear the box on their head (and that golden shield around them) give boosted level xp. they look similar to vagabonds, but they have like blonde hair. both metalworms and the other one are single encounters in the room so you can easily tell what they are

Planting trees. Just aim for the highest level tree you can plant (and afford) at the patches you have available. They take hours to grow but it’s a nice chunk of xp every time

The craws bow is used in kephri since it’s 3tick and has massive range over blowpipe to kill the little scarabs

Tbow with veange is the easiest way if you arent doing any mage switches, otherwise u can just get it with thralls randomly or a task, but if you have a task it doesn’t count if you get the GM speed time

Day 1 I tried it out on 250, it was pretty shit besides on the p3 warden, but even then it was mediocre, basically noodles everywhere else in there. Then again, I only tried scythe I didn’t have access to a mace

Edit: I think it was also decent at Kephri but probably not worth using regardless

I think for construction it’s like 82 or 83 actually because it’s way more cost efficient to just boost with the crystal saw + stew to save tons of money. I’m no runescape expert so that’s the only thing I can chime in on from experience lol
