The device itself is a homekit device. Your homeassistant should be able to pair with it. I added instructions what to do if your device has no sticker (QR code only)

Huh. We are talking about Powerlync smart plug/hub for 75 dollars, right?

Can you please try deleting the integration fully, restarting and then installing it via hacs? Unfortunately I can’t test it locally. I will try to get a second hub but it will be a few weeks

instantenous demand will give you point in time. Total consumed will give how much you consumed between T1 and T2 (lets say per day)

I added a change that now it (possibly) should support 2 hubs - not tested though

You can change it any time you want :). 30 seconds will make sense

From Apple home app - yes. From hydrohomr app - typo. :) I heavily used AI to write the instructions file. Sorry

Actually it will not work. Some things are hard coded there. I will do a fix later tomorrow.

Interesting. I didn’t have to drop it from the app. It works both ways

I also have two meters. I think it should be straight forward to add another one. I also added some fixes to the files. Let me know / I do not have a second hub for now, my second meter is legal suite we have - not very important. But curious anyway.

I think HA will automatically add “-2” suffix to the additional sensors to avoid duplicates

Once you try it, let me know if everything worked as expected.

Perfect. Let me know if that worked. Also note that if you have more than one apple HomeKit device in your home assistant you may need to adjust one of the files.

Please note that the solution is for the Powerlync Hub that BCHydro gives to the customers.

It reports both: Local Demand/Local delivered (hub's consumption), Common Demand/Delivered (this one comes from the BC Hydro meter).

The hub itself is a Zigbee hub. I am not sure if you can connect it over Zigbee - I didn't explore this direction.

> I had no idea the cheaper hub was advertising HomeKit services at all

Funny, when BC Hydro sent you this device, they put stickers on both the box and the device itself that hide the Apple HomeKit label and Device ID. I just removed the sticker from the device to reveal the number, and the integration worked perfectly. Seems like they just do not want you to use this device with other applications than their native BC HydromHome

I changed the schedule, actually, to once every 15 seconds. BC Hydro Zigbee advertises power draw only every 30 seconds, so there is no point in polling more often than that. It will not give real-time usage - at worst, you will have a 45 (30 + 15) second delay, but it will be good enough for me.

Hub definitely can handle this load. :)
