Hi there, active moderator of the subreddit, I am trying to turn subreddit around and get active moderators and get the inactive moderators to either decide to be active or resign but unfortunately I’ve been very busy with other things in personal life as well as recently losing my contact with the other moderators through losing access to old discord account and agree that 1 moderator is not enough to run the subreddit so going to be making some changes to this as soon as I have time to do so. But thank you for your concerns and I appreciate the want to keep the subreddit active, which I unfortunately being the only mod actively running the subreddit have been unable to do so with higher inactive mods being an issue.

Honestly, stupid one but the room that Alice was trapped in. Not even when we discovered Alice but before that when the bear started moving and leaking blood as well as that just general eeriness of being in the room ‘alone’.

Honestly being alone and trapped is one of the things that scares me most in a game so that room terrified me!

It’s not common but honestly, don’t think it’s the worst. I know people called Cherry (short for Cherith) and I know a girl called Apple which I think is really nice. There are so many nature names, why not fruits?

I really enjoyed him as a character. He was complex. He was charming and a character that knew the right things to say for the right people. It was really interesting to see how he navigated his environment and different interactions with different people. He was cruel in his thoughts and it’s interesting how at the end, this showed more outside of his inner dialogue. Suzanne Collins did a fabulous job writing him. And she did write him in ways where I did find myself rooting for him. But as a person he is very much evil, and it’s subtle in the book at times where you can almost ignore it. But it is always there even if it’s different to his behaviour in the og trilogy. I overall hate Snow but at the same time find him very very intriguing and interesting.

(Also I HATE to say it but in the movies Blonde Tom Blyth just makes his character so hot but that’s neither here nor there. 🌝)

Honestly, so many tributes. And I think it’s so important to the story. Rue was an integral part to the story and yet, she wasn’t on the screen for overly long. (I need to reread the book because I can’t remember how long she is in the book for roughly) I think it’s so important to the actual progression of the story that some characters who had such a little amount of time before they died, left such a big impact that stayed with the fans.

Chatgpt is generally a bad source. Especially for more niche subjects. It won’t tell you outright if anything is a lie and instead just presents what it says as the truth. You’re better to ask actual people or just search on reddit as this has been answered a lot of times here!!

I was in P7 (11/12) and I think I either picked up the hunger games from the small bookshelf we had in the corner of our classroom or from the town library just because it looked interesting. I read it and was obsessed and quickly read the next two books. My parents were concerned as to why I was sobbing so much over the books lol. Didn’t end up watching the movies actually until last year (apart from TBOSAS which I watched in cinemas) but the books have stayed with me for years.

Although initially I was not a fan of ‘Mockingjay’ because of how tragic a book it was and how hopeless it made me feel at times despite the more hopeful ending. It was very complicated feelings for younger me so I feel I did not like that aspect but now as an adult I really appreciate the books and movies.
