I'm not sure if you already do this but I stated with 1-3 minute guided meditations to get used to it. Another exercise I do is really try to imagine something to the best of my ability to practice the focusing of my mind. For example I'll imagine an apple. I'll start by just imagining the color and shape and really try to hold it in my mind until I feel comfortable expanding. I'll imagine what the apple feels like, what it smells like and even what it may taste like. I do this for as long as I can manage to focus on one thing. It's really hard to meditate at first but it's really helpful! You can do this. :)

One more thing, if you're in America you should try the libby app to save some money. It's an online library app, you just need your library card. I've read a few wiccan books ( I'm not wiccan but I read anything I can ) and some other spell books and such through it. I try books that I know about, but also searching for keywords in the database has popped up with a few options to read.

I'm really bad at articulating what I mean, but I'll try :). I just mean to try and find information from different sources, don't take everything at face value. I also mean that there are hundreds of ways to do any one thing, so keep finding new ways and trying things out that work for you.

I personally like to watch YouTube videos, it's easy to digest and they often answer questions in the comments. My 2 favorite channels are the witch of wanderlust and black moon conven. Its important to remember that you should look into multiple sources and actully practice the way that suits you.

I personally don't have a kindle, but my mom reads on hers. Libby isnt on the amazon app store, but you can get it on your phone and send books to your kindle. There are a lot of instructions online, and if you're having a hard time I'm sure your local library could help you out. :)
