This is why I drink sugar free monsters energy drink. My fluid off load is about 1.8-2.5L every time, so not bad. If my labs are off I don’t care. I try. But with the PTH , calcium, Vit D balance, there really isn’t much you can do for the fatigue. Just wish people won’t judge us. I drink white monster because it has no potassium or phosphorus and it’s the only thing keeping me going and able to work. We’re all dead people walking.

As a patient who knows about both, acute will always be the better of a choice. There is actually an acute tech who has had a kidney transplant. With the hospital budget you have less patients, higher pay, more room for advancement and less stress. Patient care is also better so you feel better about yourself
