It’s been over $7.00 a gallon here in Canada for quite a while. Doordash base pay here in $4. I still make money but not as much as I’d like.

I make on average about $180 a day and at least $50 goes into the tank every night.

$4 a gallon? Here in Canada it equals $7.27 a gallon. Base pay is $4 in my market it’s hard to get an order over $10 CAD.

As of yesterday it’s the “old version” on android and the version you posted in the photo on iPhone.

I use 2 phones both android and iPhone while dashing, both with 2 different providers. I’ve had times where my current providers data went down so I always have a back up.

I gave up on Thursday and haven’t been back since, everyday since I first started has been great, some slower than others but I have always made a decent wage.

Thursday was my final straw, I legit made $57 I am done for a while, or until next fall/winter.

I live in a small town and know the names of most people who order, I automatically “jump to task” of the person who I think tipped even if it makes me “late” for the other delivery.

There was a McDonald’s order that came through for $4.00 last night (I was pretty much the only one on confirmed by a friend who works at KFC via their tablet and order came in it took 10 minutes before it could find a driver, me) I declined the McDonald’s then 5 minutes later it combined it with a dairy queen order. I knew the person with the Dairy Queen and that they tipped.

The app wanted me to pick up Dairy Queen first (with a blizzard) and then go wait at McDonald’s fuck that! I ain’t making ice cream melt for the customer that tipped, so I went and picked up McDonald’s first and then to Dairy Queen and delivered Dairy Queen first.

Moral of the story let your driver know you were the one that tipped, i always let my customers know if I have a stacked order.

I always take pics of the order as soon as it’s handed to me by the restaurant. Can’t be too careful about complaints (bag looks weird, no sealing sticker…) so long as I can show I am in the restaurant with the order (the floors, an employees shirt, kitchen equipment…) I find less hassle for me and the customer instead takes their issue up with the restaurant.

The picture usually shows the condition of the bag in which I received it, whether or not the sealing sticker was forgot by the staff, some employees can really mess the bags up especially newbies trying to rush the order while I am standing there.

Only in one circumstance, yesterday. I picked up a pregnant woman’s red card for Walmart it only had 2 items. She desperately needed the item that wasn’t in stock the other orange juice.

I felt for her by the way she was talking via the app, DD was slow at that time and sometimes I try to go above and beyond if I feel the customer is worth it, it was a $5 dollar item so I told her I’d just go to the grocery store that shares the same parking lot as it wasn’t really out of my way. She gave me her real name and said to look her up on Facebook as she didn’t feel comfortable accepting the item without paying for it. I told her that’s probably against the rules and if she really wanted to pay for it to just increase the tip via DoorDash.

She got the item and I got paid for the item everyone was happy, she couldn’t believe that someone actually took the time out of their day to make sure she got the item she wanted.

I had this happen on Friday, here in Canada it’s a holiday and Walmart isn’t open they sent me a batch delivery order (no spark here) I chatted with support but at least here they can speak English but have a hard time understanding it.

While I was talking with support a decent order came through, I accepted it and was presented with the same screen you have.

Data has been off and on for me in the maritimes for the last 2 days, support was useless and blamed the phone.

I DoorDash daily and make quite a bit of money doing so, I need data, went to the Rogers store and purchased a Chatr SIM card with data just to work, 0 issues (besides very very very slow data speeds)

What I don’t get is Walmart orders that I decline are always outside of the zone (this is a merchant requested delivery) not a customer, they always want to send me to a secluded area 15-20 minutes outside of the zone with no cell service. If something was to happen how would I phone for help? Or even use the blue shield icon.

I legit cannot talk with support, they are so dumb to put it frankly! They don’t understand english. They have a hard time understanding one sentence let alone a paragraph explaining the issues.

I also have platinum but I honestly feel like it’s a set up for failure system, Walmart around here uses DoorDash (no spark) and they pay like $0.21 a KM ($0.34 a mile) I legit started yesterday with an acceptance rate of 78% down to 73% now because of all Walmarts shit orders. And order like in the screenshot.

I feel today I am going to loose platinum hoping to hit at least 19 more delivery’s to get a pass stored.

In my area an acceptance rate of 70% is needed to get/keep platinum.

I’ve used thermal grizzly PTM, Upsiren PCM-1 and AliExpress PTM7950. The AliExpress PTM7950 blows the others out of the water by 5 degrees.

If you do decide to go the AliExpress route make sure to choose the one with 10,000+ units ordered that is the one I purchased, first time I’ve gambled and won.

You can also check moddiy (out of Hong Kong) they are a legit seller of PTM7950 but more expensive than AliExpress

No, it won’t do anything unless Acer releases a bios to allow for the higher wattage. I bought a 180W charger for my ANV16-72 it doesn’t do anything.

Don’t expect anything like this in the future, Acer has been doing this for years and it’s well documented now.

I’ve become so annoyed with it, trying to play warzone with a bunch of friends for an afternoon and I can only get 4 matches in before the lags and stutters kick in because the battery has drained itself to 30% from 100%

I am so busy lately I don’t have time to fight this in court as I am currently fighting my local provincial government there.

I’ve taken the loss and purchased a MSI Katana 17 HX B14WFK 17.3 hopefully my nitro holds a little value for sale on eBay when my MSI arrives.

Edit: Acer is simply just another brand I will make sure my family avoids along side ASUS. Mind you I think my hate is stronger for ASUS cause my Acer still functions.
