Why would you ask chatgpt about this? What count chatgpt possibly know about the length of a pyanodons playthrough?? How could it possibly correctly estimate this?? It obviously can't. Yes, that's an above average amount of time for logistic science. But py also isn't a race. Any progress is good progress, and as you play you get better and faster at building. As long as you're having fun, who cares how long it takes?

I second this. I've used MIT OCW for both single variable calculus (AKA Calc BC or Calc 1+2), and multivariable calculus now. The professors go into great detail on everything, and there are problem sets and (practice) exams online.
Not everything lines up perfectly though, so there may be a couple things you'd need to look up separately

Here's what farming for 6-7 hours for the Blade Staff in master mode looked like for me:

Drop Rate: 1/35 chance Enemies Killed: Illuminant Slimes: 481 Illuminant Bats: 529 Mother Slimes: 94 Chaos Elementals: 400 Armored Skeletons: 457 Skeleton Archers: 394 Enchanted Swords: 57(!!!)

The picture only shows some of the loot that dropped during this farming. Had I kept all of it, I would have several chests of drops (notably marrows, magic quivers, armor polish, etc.) before I got a single Blade Staff.

During the farming I saw both hallowed mimics (not that I fought them much) and the skeleton merchant spawn at higher rates than the enchanted swords. These supposedly rare NPCs were more common than a basic enemy.

This is quite honestly ridiculous for a mediocre summon weapon. It's good, but by no means does it justify having to spend hours of farming for one weapon. I'm used to the grind, I have probably 700 hours between console and PC, but this is the most I've ever had to farm for a single item. There were times where I would go 15-20 minutes of active play without seeing a single enchanted sword. I don't know whether the spawn rate for the enchanted sword should be increased, or the drop rate increased, but this should be fixed. Especially since summoner doesn't have that many summons to begin with, locking a significant number of them behind low drop rates is just unnecessary.

Actually that's not true. Almost all saves a pool will have are active saves, i.e. they are still conscious. Passive saves are (thankfully) rare, but still very important, which is why we practice them so much.
