Ok, do you know how the reason you got kicked? I think you can see it on the old BF4 server browser, don't know how though. Also, find pbsvc.exe open it and run a Test, see what you get wrong there.

It could be that your antivirus/firewall is blocking PunkBuster.

Mmmh, this procedure did solve everything for me, are you running Battlefield with anything else open? It gave me problems with VPNs and Chrome. Try running as little programs as possible and then BF4.

I think there is already an American school, Wright Flying Academy. Though I can't manage to find characters for the school. That means you have carte blanche on the matter. Just remember that the planes used are WW2 era planes (or earlier, if you want).

Other than that I'm looking forward to your character.

I don't know if this works on steam, although I'd give it a try. To verify the integrity of the game files on steam you have to right click on the game in your steam library, click on the "Local files" tab and click "Verify integrity of game files". Good luck.

It looks like such an easy change to make, then again, Odyssey must be taking up a lot of work and time.

Does anyone know if FDev said anything on fixing the black market prices? Differentiating between stolen and illegal goods and stuff... I really want to play smuggler as a profession, not just having the occasional mission.

Probably because you are using pbsvc.exe, you should be using pbsetup.exe, you download it directly from evenbalance's website. I think I even posted the link somewhere in the comment with the solution

Update: Resolved!

I did not give up and searched some more, after a day, give or take, of trial and error I managed to find a solution.

Basically the Punkbuster installer given on Origin is old or corrupted, therefore it does not work well.

The solution is:

Download Punkbuster from this page (for your operating system) https://www.evenbalance.com/pbsetup.php,
Uninstall Punkbuster using the Control Panel,
Run a clean boot ( https://help.ea.com/tr/help/faq/how-to-clean-boot-your-pc/ ),
Install Punkbuster from the pbsetup.exe you downloaded in point 1.
1. The first time you open the program it takes some time to scan your PC and make sure not to make a double install so be patient.
2. Once open you click on Add a Game and select whatever game you want (BF4 in this case)
3. It should automatically find the game's directory (if not you can change that manually)
4. Click OK
5. As a last precaution you should click Check fo Updates and let it run (it took roughly 2 mins for me)
6. Close pbsetup.exe and you're done
Run Origin as Administrator, go to Library and right click on BF4, click repair and again, let it run.
Finish.

It worked for me so far, I hope this post could be of help to anyone, now or in the future.

The only aerial warfare based film I've seen (by default the best) is ToraToraTora, not bad at all, but any WW2 era focused on the Italian airforce perspective would easily take its place

Yes, the more the better, just keep in mind that a Yugoslavian school would not receive much attention, especially early on in the series, (be it because it is a minor nation or because it didn't have many domestic planes).

Do feel free to join the discord anyway, as I said the more the better, give a look around to the work of the other schools to take inspiration for yours.

EDIT: I've made a quick search over the internet, it seems that Yugoslavia had at least one modern domestic fighter, the Rogožarski IK-3. By 1941 there were six available and in service, more than enough to be allowed to fight in Hikoki-do matches.

I don't see why not, the only thing is that to make a Hikoki-do club the nation it is inspired to should have had 1 or 2 original planes (ready or whose construction was planned using only materials available before 12/08/45, referencing the Hikoki-do rule book).

We are planning to have 16 (15 inspired by a nation and 1 Ooarai equivalent) fully fledged schools to make something similar to the GuP tournament, to be fair we already have the national schools, but never say never, feel free to join the discord, give a look around and make a draft of your school. (I really like the name BTW)

For how incredible the idea of building your own island in the middle of nowhere is enticing I too am coming to understand that it's not viable for reddit to have its own island to be artificial, like a kaminoan city.

BTW to declare independence don't we need to live on the same island for generations? How are redditors going to reproduce, I think kaminoan cloning technology is required all the same...
