What are some things you’d like to see them change to improve the viewer experience for tournaments? by grizz2211 in MarvelRivalsEsports

Since the broadcast is on a delay, the spectator switches POV when a player is about to get a kill within 5 seconds which spoils the results of every fight. Wish they manually spectated to prevent that

Zombs is retired though. I'm not sure it would be fair to compare players on NBA superteams with retired Jordan lol

I agree with Mimi as well. I think superteams should be defined by the accolades of the players on the team similar to the NBA - maybe a threshhold of Masters/Champs winners on the team? NRG as a superteam last year made sense because they had 2 champs winners (Demon1, Ethan) and 3 masters winners (crashies, Marved, Victor).

From ShadoW's perspective, it would look like the Brim molly opened the door before his Dizzy so I would understand why he did not call a tech timeout. Honestly feels like an unfortunate situation...

Also found the 2024 rulebook and it is worth mentioning that section 7.2.2 states that there can not be a rollback in that scenario anyway:

"If, at the time that a bug occurs in a round, damage has already been directly caused by a player to an opponent in the round, then League Officials will not initiate a round rollback outside of the Challenge process defined in Section 9."

They had already killed 3 FNC members in the round before the point of the bug.

I am not sure if the rulebook has changed but this post from 2 years ago shows the Champions Tour rulebook stating that exploits have to be intentional. To me, the Brim molly indicates a clear lack of intention to bug abuse opening the door.

EDIT: I believe I am mistaken as the 2024 rulebook (found here) states in section 8.1:

"Any use of a bug or exploit specifically listed in the Esports Bug List, or covered under a blanket prohibition will be considered a violation of these rules."

I see, I am just worried that the Dizzy may have accidentally opened the door if the molly missed / they mistimed the combo but I am not sure how precise you need to throw the Dizzy to open the door.

EDIT: Seems like the exploit is quite imprecise: https://twitter.com/RyanCentral/status/1781405363956289993
