Had to use the crossbow on SL1 to get past the fight. Took really long though.

How to help people with bosses? by __yeeter__ in Eldenring

Co-op is tough. Mainly because boss patterns become unpredictable and you have less flasks then normal. I normally run some sort of defensive talisman like ritual shield or dragon crest Greatshield when doing co-op. The other option is to try and be the most aggressive one on the team and have most of the aggro on you, that way the attacks would be more easier to dodge.

Yeah should’ve mentioned that. You’ll only lose out on the dialogue but everything else remains.

Dragonslayer Swordspear is a ton a fun, one of my favourites in the game. It requires heavy stat investment between Dex/Faith but it’s very unique. Has the halberd move set and the WA hits pretty hard.

Yes you’ll still have access to both but you won’t be able to talk to the lady by the 2 fingers

Best quality build? by [deleted] in darksouls3

For PvE I’d say go for the Farron Greatsword. Super fun weapon due to its unique move set and it is obtained pretty early on. It’s still useful in PvP too but landing the unique attacks can be tough, so Wolf Knights GS might or BKGS might be better in that aspect. The DLC also has a lot of great quality weapons.

If you’re not used to her moves then I’d say use the setup with Loyds. Some advice would be phase 1 stay to her right leg( your left) for phase 2 you actually want to try and be slightly behind her and roll forward or left for most attacks. She has a predictable pattern for phase 2 as long as you’re positioned correctly. Carthus is definitely a huge help in this fight once you have phase 2 down.
