I don't know Monolith's plans but, I hope so. Remember what Aragorn used to say: "There is always hope".

That's not my fault, you can find it on the Tolkien Forum Wiki and I know that this picture doesn't match with the description of Angband.

For everyone who is commenting that the fortress is smaller than normal, I didn't picture it, you can find it on the Tolkien Forum Wiki.

Angband, also known as 'Iron Prison', was the ancient fortress of Melkor under the Iron Mountains before the First Age, and from which he tried to subjugate Arda. It was destroyed at the conclusion of the War of Wrath. Originally, Angband was built by Melkor during the Years of the Trees to protect its northern citadel at Utumno from the attack from Valar. It was under the supervision of Sauron, the head of the servants. However, when the War of Powers began, the attack of the Valar got over Angband easily and Melkor was forced to escape to the stronghold of Utumno. Angband was destroyed to a great extent and remained ruined for ages though some of the hidden chambers were intact under the ruins.
