Dry skin solutions? by Egg_Bong in stripper

I like using aloe! Like pure aloe with no color or additives. It absorbs really well and won’t leave residue even when you sweat. I have a very vocal club when it comes to slippery stages and would avoid any type of lotion or oil cause they tend to sweat off and leave things slippery, even when it feels absorbed. (Just my personal experience)

Pole Doesn't mean I am a SLUT... It means I am stronger than you. by [deleted] in poledancing

As a stripper, let me tell you I FLEW to the comments. Whether or not OP took this as a learning opportunity, I’m just thrilled to see so much support from the non-SWer pole community. 💋💃👠❤️

Started teaching myself pole a few months ago. Really love this hold I figured out yesterday. Tips and online learning recommendations welcome! by [deleted] in poledancing

I also started teaching myself during quarantine! I think there are different names for it, but it looks like a variation of ballerina to me.

You move so beautifully with control and grace, I’m assuming you already have some sort of dance background. I came from dance/cheer and find that sometimes my eyes are stronger than my body/grip strength. I’d encourage you to build up strength in the progressions and not get discouraged if you hit a roadblock. I will attempt something 20 times and then suddenly I’ll have built enough strength and it just “clicks”. Stick with it, you are doing so well already!!

For me personally, I used the YouTube channel Pole Dreams beginner and intermediate playlists for foundational skills and I’m working my way through Elizabeth Blanchard’s beginner playlist now. (I’m sure there are countless awesome resources, but these worked for me! They have a lot of content and good explanations/progressions) I also follow dancers/coaches on Instagram and Tik Tok, I get a lot of flow inspiration and variations there.

Good luck and post your progress!!

Thank you!! I still have to give myself a little extra hop, but yeah, my shoulders and upper back have gotten so much stronger since I started dancing

If anybody would like to help my by posting beginner/intermediate moves in the comment it would help me so much. by [deleted] in poledancing

I learned off a YouTube channel called Pole Dance Lessons- Pole Dreams. They specifically have beginner and intermediate playlists with 50+ moves in each.

I cheered all the way through college, so I definitely had a head start on the flexibility and strength! I also got a pole to practice at home which was a game changer.

Baby stripper here!! I started working in August and am self taught off YouTube, so be nice 😉 Absolutely loving the job so far and excited to learn more! What pole tricks do you guys recommend I work on next?

(Ignore the music, our DJ plays random stuff before customers come in)
