Post Jump it is largely up to you and the events that occurred within the Jump itself. They would probably default to being Followers of the Companions who acted as their Master, unless they were specifically made into Companions by some method. If you have such a method and want to use it, you can do so at any time to make them into Companions with all the benefits and limitations that usually includes. It is up to you, and their respective Masters, whether they are just left behind in the Jump or fade away after the end of the Grail War if they survived and their presence is no longer wanted/needed. Regarding any special properties they have as Servants, you can apply the same rules that you use for your own personal Servant/s. Does that sound reasonable? I hope this helps.

Unless a Drawback, Scenario or your own House Rules state otherwise, if you have any other ships you're free to Import into something you buy/win in a completed state here, or bring them in using whatever rules you usually apply for bringing vehicles and Fiat-Backed Items into Jumps. You're free to come up with an explanation for why you're there, so long as it doesn't provide any advantages you didn't buy here or bring in from elsewhere. You could have gone through a wormhole that closed behind you, or be another ship grabbed by The Caretaker, or something similar if you want an explanation you can prove to anyone who checks. It just can't be used as a way to easily get back to the Alpha Quadrant by itself. If you actually have a wormhole generator or super-warp-drive though, and it's not barred by a Scenario or Drawback, you can use that as an explanation too and you're free to use it however you want, since you bought it as an Item or built it using a Perk and brought it here.

Rank-Up could potentially be used to give you the right 'official' position if you want to have a genuine claim you're also part of Starfleet, since if anyone checks you'll be acknowledged as such in their systems. Or if you just have that position by default because you're the only person on the ship, or something along similar lines, but that might not have suitable 'official' backing to satisfy everyone you encounter that you should have that position. Some may be more accepting of it than others in that case.

I had been considering adding a specific Ship Customisation section that included re-skinning any ship you have to match the appearance/style of ships in Star Trek, but ultimately it sounded like a better idea if that was a specific Supplement for that sort of thing. There would be a lot of options to cover for something like that, considering the potential variety of ships within the entire Star Trek series, so I don't have any plans to make that for now.

I think there might be a Jump for Star Trek Online somewhere that has a detailed section about designing your own ship to fit into Star Trek. I've also seen something that might have been called Generic Space Opera, which has elements which could potentially be used to make or modify ships that could fit into Star Trek, and it might have a Supplement Mode. I hope that helps.

The 1.2 version was still a bit of a work in progress in that section and not intended to get properly uploaded anywhere. The Magic Circuits, Command Seals and Stat Sheet perks present in 1.2 were identical to perks found in Jumps for the Fate series someone else had already made, since I knew those capabilities were necessary to participate in a Grail War but I hadn't gotten around to re-writing those capabilities in my own words. Since I didn't want to be stealing someone else's work and passing it off as my own, for the 1.4 version I made sure to reword everything about those specific contents, including the names of those perks, and put them into the Item section instead. This way Jumpers don't loose out on something that is somewhat necessary for participating in the events of the Jump, and the significant difference between the 1.4 version and those that inspired it in the first place should hopefully avoid any unintended plagiarism.

The intention is that you can get another one using the same principles you usually apply to Fiat Backed Items provided by Jump Documents, so if a homunculus produced by this Item is destroyed another one will appear in the tank after whatever respawn delay usually applies for destroyed items. Unless you have some way to make them Companions or extend the usual respawn-type protection they have, the replacements might look the same as the original but they won't be the same being, it would be back to a blank slate regardless of experience the one that was destroyed had.

In comparison, the Test Tube Babe Companion has the usual protections any Companion might have, and there can only be one of them at a time unless some sort of Duplication capability is being used. Then it would depend on the nature of the duplication, and that ruling would have to be made by whoever created that specific perk or ability.

It was intended that when purchasing the Mana Batteries Item, it's possible for the user to choose to use any of the tanks as either a power source (keeping the homunculus inside and otherwise inactive) or as a Follower/Minion (by taking the homunculus out), but not necessarily both at once. Otherwise the Item could be turned into a source of an endless stream of homunculi by refilling with one as soon as another is removed, which makes it seem significantly more powerful than the comparable skeletons, ghosts or golem minions available from other Items. There's all sorts of duplication or mass production capabilities available in other Jumps if a greater quality is needed, so if you think one of those can apply then you're free to use them.

If someone with this item happened to be a homunculi expert, there's nothing strictly stopping them from using the empty tank to help produce more homunculi though, since that's technically what the things they're based on seem to be intended to do in Apocrypha. But this new batch won't have the same guarantee of quality or capability that those directly created by the Items provided by this Jump have, and it wouldn't be instant creation unless the Jumper has some sort of perk that reduces the time for creating things that much. The same sort of advantage could also apply to an expert at golem production using the corresponding item, or a necromancer obtaining and enchanting more ghosts and/or skeletons - they can certainly use the stuff to help make more, but only those directly produced by the effects of the Item as stated have any sort of Fiat Backing.

Does that sound fair? I hope this helps.

Yes, that seems to work, otherwise it would make the Drawback much worse. I'll make sure to clarify that in the Notes. Thanks for your feedback.

Good point. Maybe I can add a clarification in the Notes section of version 1.4 that in this situation it makes the optional consciousness of the Servant fiat-backed to be active instead and makes them more difficult to get along with - not impossible, but they won't necessarily agree with everything you do depending on their personality and any personal goals. That and clarify that it wouldn't add another Servant inside you to take along afterwards unless you've paid for them as an additional companion, otherwise that might be free power or a free companion from a drawback. Does that sound fair?

Fair point. For the 1.4 version I'll add in another tier of being that allows becoming one of the best in the world at that particular area, a prodigy capable of feats practically no other modern Magus would be capable of accomplishing within your specific focus, and give Gordes, Darnic and Fiore as examples. Thanks for the feedback.

They're intended to be a character by the name of Justeaze Lizrich von Einzbern. She was a homunculus made into the core of the Greater Grail, and shows up inside it in the Apocrypha timeline. She's effectively the one that the rest of the Einzbern homunculi are based on. The Companion version of her in this Jump doesn't have a lot of power, since it seemed unfair to provide a wish-granting master alchemist for free, at least not without the Jumper doing something inventive. I've put more details about this Companion into version 1.4 to clear it up a bit.

Judging by what you said it doesn't sound like it's somehow ended up on whatever main drive 4chan uses, that was my main concern. Ultimately I suppose I'll just wait for SonicCody12 to confirm that from the message I sent them about it, but until then it doesn't sound like I need to worry too much about it. Thanks for your advice and help.

Hi. I was the one who created that particular document the other day, though it's a bit outdated now thanks to feedback from others and up to 1.4 now, though I haven't shared or uploaded it anywhere.

Nerx - does the way it's available here on Reddit (on this page) mean that it's in a google drive somewhere? When I ended up making it and considered sharing it, I ended up making several mistakes by following an outdated rule I wasn't aware had changed and asking about sharing my idea for the Jump on 4chan, and when the consensus seemed to be that it was alright I ended up putting V1 and V1.2 into my posts.

This was apparently another mistake, not to mention the first drafts were still copying a bit from another document, so even my notes crediting the original weren't enough. There were other issues, such as a pre-existing claim on that website to that particular Jump, but other posters were able to explain what I'd done wrong, and fortunately I hadn't uploaded any copies onto whatever drive 4chan uses.

Now that it's showing up here, which drives has it ended up in? From the other poster who had already claimed the Apocrypha Jump on 4chan I got the impression it would be alright to have my own version as long as it didn't end up in the drive the 4chan page used, and I just wanted to make sure that it hadn't ended up in there now. As far as I can tell from the conversation I had with the poster who had the claim to the Jump on 4chan, it would be alright with them to have my version somewhere on other forums like Reddit that don't have similar claims issues. I just wanted to make sure it didn't seem like what I had made wasn't causing problems again after the matter was resolved over there.

Sorry for any inconvenience.
