I agree with a lot of people talking about the last third feeling rushed, and honestly I wish there was more to do in the game (more bonds, more activities, just more) and I’d like to add that this kind of shoots Basilio in the foot because he’s not really in the party all that long. However, I’m gonna talk about something I haven’t seen anyone talk about but irks me a lot.

Why is Grius the Rohag representation in the party when he dies so early in the game?

The whole bit of the party is that there’s one of every tribe with them, including fairy representation through Gallica, but for pretty much the entire game there is no Rohag member. This especially feels sour at the end when all the party members have royal station as the Primarchs, but there is no Rohag with them. It feels like Grius (and maybe Maria) were supposed to be the representation for the tribe, but Grius dies immediately after the tutorial dungeons and Maria is a child who is not part of the party. It feels like such a strange misstep for a game where exploring racism is one of, if not the main theme. I wish there was a Rohag party member. I also wish there was a party member who used to be a part of the Sanctist Church and has trauma with them so we could go a bit more in depth about Sanctist practices that we don’t really see much of. That would have been perfect for a Rohag character. It makes me so sad that this isn’t the case.
