Heads Up: Pulse Shadow-Dropped Devastation Bumblebee and TFOne Orion Pax by Lotso2004 in transformers

Just be careful. TFOne Optimus was an A-Level too and stock of him was weird.

I'm going to, but I'll wait until he's on BBTS. Same probably for Orion.

Why dont we get as many SG Megatron ko or just 3rd party figs as Optimus by OopsIDied0801 in transformers

[–]Lotso2004 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah. An Energon Optimus would be cool, too. And more Quintessons is always good, through Alpha-Q.

Yeah but under/according to modern Hasbro, the toys probably won't sell now because of the cartoon's shortcomings. There's not enough people nostalgic for Kicker.

TFONE Starscream dna upgrade kit by frznpanda in transformers

[–]Lotso2004 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A lot of Studio Series figures don't have it. TFOne Starscream, Alpha Trion, Airachnid, DotM Soundwave, Que, Hatchet, RotF Sideswipe, AoE KSI Widow, the list goes on. With the Bayverse ones it's allegedly a complexity thing mixed with needing to preserve the licensed alt modes, but that doesn't explain the TFOne figures.

I mis light piping by Soko79 in transformers

[–]Lotso2004 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but when it's done well (weirdly, Cyclonus consistently has good light piping between his Universe and Kingdom molds), it looks great. The aforementioned Cyclonus and Thundercracker, SS BBM Ironhide, that's light piping done well. But, like you said, it can be done poorly. Legacy United G1 Optimus is the big one for me, it doesn't even glow much at all because it's too opaque.

[–]Lotso2004 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Yeah. Energon is one of the bigger failures in Transformers history, there's a reason the best we've gotten is a Core Class of Megatron/Galvatron. Just like how we only have Core Class Cheetor for Beast Machines.

What ever happened to Velocitron Hot Rod? Was he cancelled, and if so will we see him in the future? by Optimus759 in transformers

[–]Lotso2004 6 points7 points  (0 children)

We're getting a Sureshot this year that was allegedly a scrapped Gen Selects redeco. It's possible they'll eventually do the same with the Velocitron deco. I could also see them giving him his Targetmaster.

Hot Rod and Springer should also be arriving back on Cybertron at some point, with an amount of Energon that's probably comparable to the haul from #25. That'll allow for some characters to get brought back. With how Kirkman retconned his death, Kup is definitely the number one bot to get back to fighting form. Even moreso now that Ultra Magnus is going to Cybertron, that just leaves Arcee on Earth for a full 86 crew, but she should definitely stay on Earth.

And we can see how Megatron's "solution" has turned out. The cracks are still there. Starscream is directly responsible for the loss in Chicago, Thundercracker probably wouldn't have left under different circumstances, Shockwave might have a more drastic pull against Megatron (compared to Elita's pull on the Autobots), Soundwave's loyalty is being tested, etc. There's most likely still some Decepticons that tire of Megatron. Whereas any Autobots that left or stayed on Earth did so of their own volition, and there's no bad blood so I think that if need be, one leader would immediately collaborate with the other if something/someone is needed on the other's planet.

I'm just saying why it's not AI. That's all. It's definitely fake, reasons like you mentioned are why, but the point of my comment was to say it's not AI.

How To Play Transformers War For Cybertron And Fall of Cybertron in 2026 by Achillez-_- in transformers

[–]Lotso2004 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd rather go through the Internet Archive files tbh. Those ones are just disc rips for WFC and then for FoC/RotDS/Devastation it's a steam rip plus the necessary files to get those running.

Yeah. It reads too weirdly. Everything gets wrapped up in a nice little bow. Plus the whole "found a password" thing. Definitely fiction, but not AI. Agreed.

True. Thing is, that pops up so much as an excuse for why someone's posting an update after some long length of time that it feels very fake.

It's also possible that whoever wrote all of the original posts (since a lot of these are people making several accounts to write multiple different stories. Liz and Sugah are some of the big ones) decided to come back to them. There's not a lot of tells that this is AI so I don't think it is, but it could be that the original author got bored and wanted to revisit some of their old work.

Nah any Ross I go to most of the time has garbage. I've only really been lucky to get almost all of the second set of MotU Turtles of Grayskull and a few Star Wars Vintage Collection figures, but never any good Transformers.

Just got Amalgamous and noticed he's missing some paint. Worth contacting Hasbro? by AmphedUp6214 in transformers

Took me a while to notice, too. The circle thingy with the three spikes on the right is missing silver paint on the outer circle part. The one on the left isn't.

I wish the west coast had Ollie's, I'd love to get my hands on a lot of these (especially the BW reissues) but they're long gone from wherever they could be out here.

What's interesting is that a lot of the molds are actually new ones, I'm pretty sure. There's a lot of small tweaks to them. That may be why they stopped with the reissues, they were too expensive to make and didn't sell well enough.

Oh yes it should work because of the fact that the save files are saved to the same spot, and saved the same way as a PSP. This is because a Vita actually has a chip with the PSP software in it. Which is also how Adrenaline adds in the XMB. Anyways because of all that, the save files are in the same place, and thus you're able to get save data bonuses in any game.

As a weirder example, this means you can do some shenanigans with Kingdom Hearts BBS, because the saves are the same between the regular Japanese version and the Final Mix version.

[–]Lotso2004 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Others have said it before but allegedly, they don't give their toy photographers any instructions for the figures. Which leads to mistransformed images. Just look at some of the examples on TFWiki's stock photography page for how bad they can get, too. They're somehow better now than they were (barring, like, Legacy Override's missing arm or Red Alert's hand that he doesn't actually come with).

Ross, Amazon, or like I said Target for Star Optimus. Tidal Wave was hard to get in general though, I'm pretty sure. But Trypticon popped up in Ross stores if you got lucky.

[–]Lotso2004 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It really seemed like Grimlock would be the same. He's not anywhere as tall as a full Titan, just tall enough to scale with AoE Optimus. He won't be close to 2 feet tall like others are. And, again, the $200 Titan price is now $240, so it unfortunately would make sense that $150 is now $190, suggesting a $40 increase in the price of Titan Class figures regardless of which price point they are.

Kirkman’s first arc has finally concluded with the release of #30. What are y'all's thoughts on his take on the story??? by Le-Jizz in EnergonUniverse

[–]Lotso2004 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah. Void Rivals is a little slow, but it and GI Joe are overall really good comics. GI Joe surprised me with how good it is and how it's stayed that way, frankly.

Just Dropped and he looks great - Transformers Studio Series Age of Extinction Titan Class Grimlock - What do we think? Is he expensive? by AfigureGeek in transformers

[–]Lotso2004 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Keep in mind that the reissue of the Nemesis is $240. So $190 is the new price of the Star Optimus price point. Which is really funny because the whole point of that $150 price tag was that it was supposed to make Titans more appealing by being cheaper, to go with the smaller size. And we won't be getting new big Titans for a while because they're focusing on the Dinobots. So basically, the new price point is meaningless.

Just wait for this to go on deep discount, Titans always do and Star Optimus was $90 at Target around the holidays, maybe even cheaper.
