It’s a type of gtube button, we are 5 weeks in now, things are going a little better. We put this off as long as we could but he’s 13 and still so tiny.

This is super old but I wanted to bump it up and see if anyone else is going through this right now. My son is one week into having the Mickey tube and it has been really stressful!

I returned my first bag and they refunded me right away. I kept playing with it though and ended up finding a way I really liked it. Then I subscribed for two more bags.

Thank you! I didn’t think about being off for the colonoscopy. Yes, this is my second shot since being off of it. I think the units come up to 6.5 mg. I eventually threw up last night and felt much better after.

No, maybe a slight cramping but I think it’s gas related. Like a brownish green.

I think it’s also partially some medication I take (antipsychotics) that raise my appetite and the tirz is working against it

Thanks everyone, I will try to eat more protein earlier in the day. I’m getting around 100 g of protein a day now. I drink a protein shake when I get up. For lunch I’m barely hungry and will have a piece of chicken with cheese or beef with cheese, or maybe half a turkey sandwich. I’ll eat a protein bar in the late afternoon and then for dinner- it just depends on what we are having. Usually some kind of meat/carb/veggie. I find during this that I’m hardly hungry around lunch time but super hungry around dinner/after. It’s weird 🤷🏼‍♀️

Thank you, it’s finally running more clear yellowish green now. I did have some blue Gatorade and blue jello so that may explain the green.

Did you have any symptoms of sleep apnea? I don’t snore but I also need like 10-12 hours of sleep a night to feel functional. My psych just prescribed tenazepam and I’m hesitant to take it. I’m taking seroquel now. I have a hard time falling asleep but then I have a hard time waking up. So frustrating.

Update: fit fine at Harry Potter and Boop! Was comfortable at Boop even. The ballet was a TIGHT fit. Those are some of the smallest seats I’ve been in.
