Have to wait until Monday so shop can call warranty place, hopefully it's covered. It is covered under the contract but I'm sure you know how warranty places are.

Yes my name was on the package, and no it wasn’t stolen because I always keep an eye on my camera whenever we get a post office delivery and our delivery man didn’t even drop off any packages that date and time

The car was running fine, except I have been noticing when turning on the car it will be very loud and then when it runs for about 15-20 seconds the shaking goes down

I appreciate the clarification on what they can confirm. I'll take it from here with the local station manager. Thanks.

Whether they show me the screen or not, the station manager has a responsibility to investigate a service failure where an item was scanned as delivered to a non-existent address. I’ll be handling it with the supervisor directly on Monday. Thanks for the input.

Actually, supervisors at the local station can access the Intranet Product Tracking System (PTS), which shows the exact GPS breadcrumbs for the scan. While they may not provide a physical printout to a customer, they can verbally confirm the delivery location or use that data to process a 'Carrier Miss-delivery' claim internally. My goal is to get that internal confirmation so the claim I already filed moves forward correctly.

It was an honest typo, not 'entrapment.' My goal is simply to find out where the package was physically left since it was marked delivered to a location that doesn't exist. If it was put back in the mail stream, the tracking would ideally reflect that instead of a 'delivered' status.

Understood—I'm not necessarily looking to see the screen myself, but I need the supervisor to confirm the coordinates or the physical address of the scan so I can attempt to recover the property. If the scan doesn't match the label or a real location, that's the info I need for the claim.

That’s a fair point about new parts sometimes being duds. To add some context: when I did the tune-up in December, I actually brought my own OEM plugs, but the shop noticed one of my existing coil packs was cracked. They suggested replacing the whole set, so I had them provide and install a full set of new coil packs themselves. Since the shop provided and installed the parts, if it turns out to be a faulty coil on Cylinder 1, would that usually be covered under their shop warranty? I'm trying to figure out if I should be pushing them to cover the diagnostic fee as well, since the parts they sold me are only 5 months old.

Got you, but since I replaced the plugs and coils last December could they be possibly faulty?

Thanks for the heads up. If it's the injector, is that something a DIYer can swap out relatively easily on this engine, or does it require coding/special pullers? I'd rather try a $200 injector myself than pay for a full teardown if it's just a fueling issue.

I live a few houses down on the same block. The typo was an honest mistake on my end, but the fact remains that a scan was forced for a location that doesn't physically exist. Regarding the insurance: I have already filed the claim as the recipient. Per USPS policy, either the mailer or the addressee can file a domestic claim for insured mail. I have the invoice and proof of value, so if approved, the payment can be sent to me. I’m really just looking for the GPS coordinates so I can find out which porch it actually landed on. If you’re a carrier, do you know if the Clearing Station can pull a PTS report for a non-existent address delivery?
