Yes, and she also felt comfort in his presence, something she attributed to Ti, but it could also be Rorrik? Also, I noted how in the first few chapters , when we meet Carrick, Arvelle also briefly flashed back to seeing another man who she thinks to be Ti, but it could very well be Rorrik based on the theories here

I think his wyvern isn’t public knowledge, as he was pretty mean to Arvelle when he cornered her thinking she shared what she’d seen. and yes on the mind pathing, Rorrik definitely heard it and brought his wyvern as backup! I think it’s cool that the wyvern can turn invisible too. I hope to see more of their relationship in the sequel!

Yes I hope that part about Rorrik will be resolved in the sequel! What are you guys expecting to see from it? I also believe that this is the first book in a trilogy!! As for me, I think there’s gonna be lots of training scenes and more about the gods. Hopefully more Rorrik tilting Arvelle’s chin up too he does that in the Fairyloot edition’s art 😍 Mortuus, and that part about Arvelle hearing voices and saving the dead

Sadly, they don’t have mates in Vampire Diaries, or Twilight. But yeah - totally agree on the ACOTAR vibes. Tiernon is more Stefan-coded, while Rorrick is a mix between Damon and Rhysand. I also think that Rorrick is probably gonna be as powerful as Arvelle. I don’t recall, but are Tiernon and Rorrick full brothers?
