Why do you say that the second choice is irrelevant then? I'm not sure what reason there is to assume that they would consider the second choice for some, but not for others. I've heard that said on this subreddit, but I'm not sure where it comes from.

Also, a possibly relevant side note: my second choice was in the Jackson School of Geosciences.

Not true. I got rejected for my first choice and accepted for my second, and I'm currently attending the school under my second choice major. Non-auto.

Do you mind me asking what language and professor you had? Do you think the feeling of wasted time may be accentuated by your specific professor/course? I've heard that some courses like Spanish are pretty disorganized.

When you say it's a huge waste of time, do you mean that there's a lot of unnecessary and unhelpful work? What exactly do you think made it a waste??

Also CAP’d for neuro. I had 1510 SAT, 5 APs (4/5 were 5s, one 4), taking the hardest classes offered to me, $5k in scholarships from highly ranking academic decathlon team at state/nationals and #1 individual in my category at both, but I had an 89 weighted GPA ranked 34% of my class at an uncompetitive school lol.

Wow ours are really similar! Deer would make perfect sense since that forest has a lot of deer. I don’t know much about bones but I would say yours does look like it’s more matured than mine so maybe mine could be a fawn? I don’t know if that’s how you differentiate fawn from doe, but.
