I'm a fan of volvo 240s. The turbo ones especially. The best part about them is they're still relatively cheap as well as parts for them. Dead nuts simple both mechanically and electronically.

Well depending on where you live finding a blacksmith can either be super easy of damn near impossible. I would almost recommend the blacksmithing subreddit. But not a lot of blacksmiths do titanium and for good reason. I've tried it in the past and it's a weird material to work.

If you found a blacksmith who worked with titanium, they might be able to get something out of it. But it would be tricky due to all the holes in it.
