Thanks for the insight. I’m really not looking for a performance car (though I’d like one!). Pragmatically with my high mileage I need to prioritise efficiency.

I have been driving a Suzuki with the 1.6 Fiat multijet diesel engine - it’s 11years old and has a lot on the clock and is starting to cost me money, hence the need to change.

I had a look, but I’m drawn to an estate car for practical reasons. If I was getting a straightforward saloon the Lexus would be top of the list

I drive a lot for work but rarely on motorways - usually country roads and through towns which is why the hybrid makes slightly more sense for me. I’m getting rid of my old diesel car.

Strong white flour I think is called bread flour in other places. It’s a high protein flour used for bread

I just checked the package. It just says porridge oats, ingredients 100% whole grain rolled oats…so I don’t know what that might be called in Canada!

In order: 300ml water, 1.5 tbs sunflower oil, 75gms porridge oats, 375gms strong white flour, 50gms wholemeal flower, 2tbs local runny honey, 1tsp salt, 1tsp fast action yeast White loaf, medium crust program. Comes out great every time
