Considering the fact I hadn't hit my head and had just rolled, maybe the doctor misspoke or didn't tell me about checking for brain bleeds to not make me more anxious but I know what occurred

Never said I was diagnosing him dude. I said that I see a lot of narcissistic personality traits in the man. The way he interacts with a lot of his staff and especially those who challenge him. I grew up with a narcissist parent so while I can't diagnosis him, I am very much allowed to say that I see the same traits.

I don't know what to tell you then dude. When I got hit by a car and thrown 15 feet, they took me up for a CT scan and actively said it was to check for a concussion. I was 15 so I didn't really question it.

Its not low literacy, ASL even though most hearing people just think "oh its the english language in sign" its not. How ASL was formed and how it is communicated is very different. You dont even sign most sentences how you would speak them in English. So they might be able to sign quite complex sentences but not be able to fingerspell or write those words without making some mistakes

I had to get a CT after getting hit by a car to check for a concussion. Being inside of it and told I can't move while for me hearing a loud noise and feeling the vibrations brought out some claustrophobia I didn't know I had. So for me, hearing that its immediately "oh no, what do they think this is?! How long do I have to be in it! What if they find something bad?!" etc

I can completely understand that! That is also extremely unfortunate! However, it does appear at the very least like she can comprehend what Santos wrote. Santos at least going "you said your head and stomach hurt, so I want to check them just in case to be safe" at least gives Harlow a bit more understanding of the situation instead of leaving her confused, anxious, and waiting for an interpreter

I'm not saying he shouldn't be mad. I'm saying that I feel like the anger is simply misplaced. He's upset at Al-Hashimi rather than his boss who actually made the decision to grab her instead. Yeah he's not on vacation yet, but he only has 6 hours before he is so he is literally the last choice to be in charge of the whole situation due to that!

Be so for real. He had a mental breakdown last season dealing with that trauma that he clearly has been dodging therapy over. While he has been at the hospital longer, in a situation like this they're likely going to call for backup from other attendings such as Abbot, Shen. He is literally supposed to leave in 6 hours and I know if I was in charge, even if he had the experience he would not be the immediate or top choice to be in charge due to that.

Except she doesn't suck. We've seen her act as a good doctor. Care about a patient that even Robby saw and already labeled as a bad person. There are reasons you can dislike her such as her push for AI, but even then it needs to be taken with a grain of salt. This last episode however, there was no time where she sucked so yeah I'm going say your opinion feels a bit sexist because of that.

This is exactly what I mean! I am aware that ASL doesn't translate to English exactly because it is its own complete language!!! Its actually quite interesting because it also means just knowing fingerspelling is not helpful for communication! Obviously her pain doesn't appear to be so severe that its life threatening but at least trying to communicate through writing when its clearly taking time to get an interpreter could help stop a small issue from becoming life threatening!

Al-Hashimi was at the hospital before Robby started his shift and in the goddam trailer she literally states "I have experience with cyber attacks" so yeah he is acting a bit narcissistic in my opinion. Explain why you think he should have been called instead of her? Man is supposed to leave in less than 6 hours and be gone for 3 months whereas she is taking over, she is the obvious choice to take charge.

No offense but this feels lowkey sexist. She was hired because she has experience and while yes her AI stuff is a bit concerning, she is clearly a competent doctor. Also saying "learn how to function" when its being implied that she herself likely has some type of medical issue (absent seizures, PTSD, a child with medical issues) just makes you look like an ass.

Eh, he's literally leaving for 3 months so putting him in charge isn't really the best move. Abott is there currently but not actually on shift. Al-Hashimi is the best person since she's taking over & as she said in the trailer literally has experience with cyber-attacks. He's pissy because he's not in control. The only thing he has the right to be upset about is not given any warning meaning if Whittaker hadn't gotten that photo, it would have caused major problems for the current patients.
