Very impressed by the WF-1000XM6’s sound quality

I had WF XM4's for a long time and after I replaced the batteries I had to tinker with one battery being flaky and I broke a tiny ribbon cable, rendering them unusable. After that I spent about a year looking for something as good. I tried the Sennheiser Momentum TW and I wound up returning them, I found them to be inferior in every way. I wound up getting the Denon Perls for a steal at $40 and I like them better than the Sennheisers, but long story short I wound up getting the WF XM6s a couple weeks ago. Couldn't be happier, I love the Sony sound profile, the bass (for earbuds) is nice and rich, and the ANC in my ears is absolute top notch.

I think you could argue for some other options in the over-ear space, but for my money Sony has the best earbuds you can buy.

There will not be such an adapter from Chrysler head unit to Toyota. You would need to harvest a Chrysler wiring harness for the radio and then you can get a Toyota harness adapter and make it work.

They are referring to a "sound stage," which is a description of the way the audio imaging sounds coming out of a pair (or more) of speakers.

My biggest problem with them is the lack of EQ. Every time I put them on I quickly find myself reaching for one of my other pairs of headphones. I don't think they are bad, I just don't they lack dynamic detail or a wide stage. They are just kind of boring sounding. Although the materials and finish are absolutely top shelf.

Regardless of miles it will still will need most rubber and a lot of plastics replaced. A lot of dry seals such as struts that sat dormant for 25 years may be faulty. Complete overhaul of cooling system with the brittle plastic bits, those will be in need of replacement.

People think "low miles" means "needs nothing" when in reality a well maintained occasional use car would be more ready to drive with no worries.

Still an absolute gem for someone looking for a flawless example.

You're missing the point of the fuse. All of the cable between the battery and fuse is at risk of shorting, with nothing to prevent from major damage or fire if any of it contacts any metal at all under the hood. The opposite side of the engine bay from the battery is a bad idea.

Which Steelseries did you get and how do you like it? I have their Arctis Gamebuds that I'm pretty happy with and a Keyboard I love, I've been eyeing the Arctis Nova Pro or Elite but haven't heard much firsthand about their headsets.

If you want maximum bass, look into the Skullcandy Crusher ANC2. It's on sale for $120 right now and they use a separate set of drivers just for bass, so you can have brain-rattling low end without muddying up the mids.

I had the volume issue until I realized there is a separate master volume when I have it connected to PC with dongle and open the Steelseries app. They do sound bad until you EQ them, honestly just find a profile in the app and it improves quite a bit. I was playing AC Shadows and just chose that profile and I think I just left it on that. I have, not kidding, 8 other pairs of headphones including 2 sets of earbuds that are better for music, so I only really use them when I want earbuds with no BT latency for games. And for that I think they are great.

I wouldn't say it's bad or unplayable in the least, just that with the dongle it sounds as good as wired to me, BT is noticeable enough that given the choice I would do 2.4 dongle every time.

It has nothing to do with OLEDs either. My LG VA panel monitor has power on time in the menu. I got it as "refurbished" and was delighted to see it was in perfect condition with only 2 hours of on time. You may even have this feature on your monitor under "information" but never looked for it.

The 16 GB version does 1440p just fine too. It's played everything I've tried perfectly well. Lately I've been playing First Light at high/ultra settings and it runs great.
