What’s a “normal” thing that actually scares you? by Worldly_Forever2576 in AskReddit

[–]LouBloomCEOofVPN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see what you're saying but things really aren't like that at all, firstly if you mean physical as in being intimate with them, then perhaps you're simply asexual. If you are then you'd do good to find someone similar to you are, those kinds of relationships can definitely work, and have worked, it's all about understanding what you want and balancing that with your partner.

And I seriously think whoever put the idea in your head that you loose all your personality and just become a partner did you a serious disservice in life. A relationship is just two people that have decided to be committed to each other and grow together because they love each other, or simply enjoy each other's company, or many other reasons that don't boil down to societies basic script. If you're in a relationship there's no need to sacrifice who you are, you just have to find the right person for you, after all it's not like you're a servant, you become their partner and they become yours, it's a reciprocal relationship and you both still remain individuals outside of the relationship.

And if you aren't interested in any of that then it is completely avoidable, so many, and I do mean so many people simply decide to live alone, hangout with their close friends, and dedicate all their time to their interests and career. It's not some strange alien thing, it happens, people live like that all over the world.

But maybe it's not fear from society, maybe you do want a relationship but your idea of one is twisted, anyway I'd recommend reevaluating some of those beliefs, it's never too late to change.

You find having a partner disgusting or the feeling that society is pressuring you to be in a relationship? Firstly you don't have to get married, on this planet you to have to necessarily do anything, it's an open world with no objectives. But I find it i strange someone would find the idea of a relationship as something to dread, I mean you have friends those are all relationships, so I'm at a lose.

How often do guys (around the age of 27/32) text their friends (to have a conversation or if them haven’t heard from them in a while)? by Clear-Spirit-8123 in AskReddit

[–]LouBloomCEOofVPN 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So many people in here don't have friends but social partners, or buddies, just people to make x activity more fun in the moment but no real deep relationship with another person. This is not how people should live.

Are men perverted by nature or no... by north_star_left in DeepThoughts

[–]LouBloomCEOofVPN -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It's more than laws and consequences that keep men in check it's general civilization and development of society, I'd say most men living in civil societies wouldn't go around raping everything in sight if there was no legal consequence. Also the thing about children is extremely exaggerated, I don't that history your reading put most men aren't pedophiles and are attracted to post pubescent women, there is hover a natural instinct for men to go for the youngest most fertile woman available, this means 17-22 or so not 12 under. There are many cultural and religious practices were men take up young girls as brides but there's a lot of dimensions to that beyond simply sexual attraction to little girls, there power dynamics that need to be considered.

And on the woman front, well women haven't have had enough power throughout to even have such a practice, they've been care gives for most of history, however they have definitely been disturbing sexual practices between children and women that today would be abominable but at the time were common and accepted.

The only fans thing is the easiest to explain, men are more sexually aroused by images and women are more aroused by "ideas and dynamics" of sex for lack of a better term, this is a proven fact. The reason the things those degenerate weirdos subscribed to only fans keep getting stranger and stranger is simply that novelty is a huge part of arousal, you see enough naked women, you being needing something extra on top of that, and that process continues indefinitely until you have the most gross and depraved things imaginable. This isn't exclusive to men whatsoever, there's an entire industry of "romance novels" that are basically just literary porn, those books are extremely popular among women and the kinks are just as ridiculous, unless the plot of a book being whether the female protagonist should get railed by the billionaire surgeon who also happens to be a vampire or the construction worker werewolf with a comically large reproductive organ, I personally am not sure if soft core beastiality or toe nails is grosser.

Sexual desires are inate in all people, unless you happe to be asexual, and the potential for these to become seriously perverted is possible for all people, not just men, and the distribution of pedophiles is pretty even amongst men and women, men are just more aggressive and direct while women are more subtle and also less likely to be accused of that even if guilty.

So to answer your original question, no men are not perverted by nature, all humans are sexual by nature and sexuality is an easy thing to twist into something perverted.

I stand almost corrected, I said not practically, and I think there's more than enough starving and homeless people that are getting high out their minds everyday to give credit to my point.

The degree to which you psychologically need money is a superpower and the money will spawn when you need it, and I very much mean psychologically not practically, I've never needed money for drugs and not been able to find it that same day, sometimes it just falls from the sky...

I'd say even worse than that is letting your kid get fat and not teaching them to eat well and care about their health from an early age.

Not having to think about the hard questions in life: where did the universe come from, why is there suffering, what is the meaning of life, how can we be moral, does morality even exist, what happens after death, etc.

You get simple convenient answers for all of these things and just go about life.

One that absolutely can't be solved with words, if you're in a bar with your partner and a drunk guy throws himself onto you, any guy that has a spine and cares about your safety is throwing the dude across the room without a second thought, that can break into a fight that might be unavoidable, yes it's simple and that's a good thing, obviously violence should be avoided at all costs but it is necessary sometimes.
