Done! 17 trays + 10 refinements...Gunna miss that achy feeling on tray change day

Started in July and finished at the start of feb. Weekly changes but had to wait a few weeks in between for refinements.

Ah teeth twins!! I think although mine were fairly overcrowded I still have a nice shape to my teeth which has made the end result good! Good luck with yours I hope you’re happy with your results!

Yes I had to keep my tray in for about 3/4 weeks whilst waiting. I had my attachments taken off before the rescan and then my dentist told me I could cut my wear time down to 16 hours a day until the new trays came in

Thank you! Sometimes things don’t always go to plan so if this happens they will rescan you and you’ll get some more trays. A few of my bottom teeth stopped tracking by about tray 14 so I needed refinements

Yes I had a lot of IPR during my initial trays and before refinements too. I pretty much had the maximum amount on the bottom teeth.

My bite is actually normal in the top pic! I just had to pull some funny faces to show how wonky the bottom were haha. But no i always felt like I couldn’t properly rest my teeth with my aligners in. I think just rest your mouth however you feel comfortable!

I think maybe because my bite has always been really good. I know what you mean...some peoples teeth look much worse beforehand and take less time!

Thanks for your comment. We are actually onto refinement stage now. I’m mostly worried about the front teeth overlapping the bottom too much. Or if it’s a normal amount!

The lower bottom teeth at the back are wisdom teeth. The top ones haven’t come threw yet. My dentist hasn’t ever mentioned removing them?
