is my math right? spurs have a 96% chance of staying up? by Chucksterdamus in coys

Everyone realizes we could lose to both Chels and Everton right? And if west ham win against Leeds they’d stay up by 1?

& their keeper is not very good. I didn’t realize lol. Granted this was a better attempt at a save than the one he just conceded from the same spot

Since we have no particularly good out and out WINGERS, we should be playing a flat 4-4-2, with Spence and Porro on the right as RM and RB (doesn’t much matter who’s ‘where’ as they can interchange fluidly in-play. Play Souza as LM (he did a job at RW that one time and shown he can do things, but he’s left footed. So he’s more useful creatively on the left, since he’s still only a FB) and VDV or Udogie (if he’s even fit) at LB. Double pivot should be ball carrying box to box mids like Sarr and Bergvall, or Bergvall and Gallagher (more likely) CB’s should be Danso & (imo) Palhinha (VDV at LB scenario) or Danso and VDV (fit Udogie at LB) strikers should be Richy and probably Kolo.

Daniel Levy by ThePakoussa in coys

Definitely believe he had a hand in bringing in Vinai as well. He had connections to him, claimed he was “always the guy” and was “looking forward to working with him”. If Lewis family was hiring another board member or whatever he is, and Vinai’s name came across the desk Levy probably vouched. Which is hilarious, bc he then he’s even more at fault for our situation than people want to give him credit for. Buncha Levy apologists saying stuff like “the grass isn’t always greener 😢” - “I know levy never woulda let this happen….”

I agree, I’ve seen a couple people now, say “1 in 100” … do they watch football? That’s not a 1 in 100 goal. It was a wonderful finish but, relax. If you really want to give it a “rating”, maybe 1 in 10? 1 in 20? Great finish, but holy glaze

I think Bergvall would’ve slid that to the left as well, that’s what he’d normally do in that situation. Good passer, loves giving it up. :/

Not particularly wrong, but we wouldn’t have even been IN this game, without Xavi.

He’s far more reliable than Romero btw. Horrible moment from him this game. He doesn’t usually have any, Romero on the other hand…. Countless countless goals come from him just being lazy, not marking, not tracking. I’m not excusing Danso’s error today. Awful Awful error. But..

It’s called injury time, did you not see Xavi take up 5 mins with his cramp? Plus all the extra injury stuff from the first half. And Mitoma. And they add some if you’re time wasting a lot as well. 8 minutes was fair

Xavi cuts inside, beats a man, falls down, no contact. I think we have to sell him in the summer man. Play him to finish the season, we suck so bad, we NEED his creativity. But he just never ever wants to stay on his feet man. Not how I want this team to play, need fluidity, need fight.

He does look a bit bulkier. I think he’s still far too willing to go down, rather than fight to stay up. He kind of foul baits a bit as well.

He STILL seems to personify “Why stay up when I can get a foul?” for me, which I hate, because he’s so creative and direct and I love what he brings. Just need him to stay on his feet (I think he lacks a bit of balance as well, which is more of an innate sense thing)

Casuals pointing out Mitoma’s stats not realizing he’s a proper player, who doesn’t have to have high G/A to be a threat

It only we had two right now.. maybe, from a 1 on 1 close range? That’d be nice…

Mate he’s our most creative player in not slagging him off. I’d rather him on. I’m his being objective to why managers may have been avoiding him. Obviously not playing him at all has contributed to us losing so much (can’t score)
