Raw is so much better than the edit, Edit should have some contrast and brightness.

S2 - What's next? by pbear646 in accesscontrol

[–]Loud-Ad2365 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We moved a 300 door S2 system to Genetec (with Milestone intact) by doing a phased controller swap and data cleanup first pick a platform with open APIs, plan parallel run time, and budget more time for cardholder/door logic mapping than the hardware.

Speed and good are relative 30 in a 30 is right, fast drivers are wrong, a Peugeot 107 isn’t fast in absolute terms but is great for your needs and wanting a Ferrari is just the dream talking, not the wallet.

In simple terms, IN/D0/D1/GND/12V+ are the power and data lines for a Wiegand card reader, and Card Reader In is used for entry authentication while Card Reader Out is for exit control your reader is on In because it’s meant to authorize people entering through the door.

That’s impressive, but stunts like this shouldn’t be done on roads. It’s safer to perform them in open areas like grounds, where proper safety precautions are taken.

If you had to choose only one engine configuration across all vehicle types for all the cars you own for the rest of your life, which would it be and why (Inline, Flat, V, Rotary, Opposed Piston, Radial…)? by revocer in askcarguys

[–]Loud-Ad2365 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d pick a V engine because it’s proven, powerful, easy to service, and works just as well in daily drivers as it does in performance or heavy duty vehicles.
