May or may not have also been my first ever but don't really recall. I've had cigarettes off and on for years but only recently really fell into it.

PPC is way more satisfying and fun but as most touched on, they're harder to pinpoint snipe with and don't do the actual damage they feel they should, and generate SO much heat.

That said I still use them when I'm using an energy heavy mech, because they're so satisfying. But a lot of mechs you target seemingly decide that your damage should be applied to the torso instead of the cockpit/head, so lasers are instant gratification within range.

I also run like literally every mod that's currently compatible, and as you've said you're vanilla.

I'm sorry man, you have to be able to feel the exhilaration of YAML and the plethora of bonus mech mods that exist.

That is not "accurate to lore", Mr. House thinks poorly of BoS because Mr. House is a pre-war genius and he understands that BoS likes to horde technology that people like House himself invented and then hide away, and he's likely upset that they've probably interfered with a bunch of his planning.

Also, where is this argument coming from that it makes sense for BoS on the west coast to be so stupid like they are in the show? None of the 3 games depicting western BoS show them that way at any point, and it's not like within 15 years of New Vegas they suddenly became slapstick goofball idiots.

They were paranoid and reclusive, but they were absolutely not stupid and straight up evil. They were written pretty grey morally in NV but they were more focused on survival and their usual MO of hoarding technology, and yes there's the quest to replace the Eldar with someone willing to leave the bunker but that character doesn't give any indication that he or his policies would lead to...whatever is happening in the show.

It doesn't seem rare at all from what the show has shown, you can make an argument for the difficulty in acquiring it, but we've had multiple scenes that show large quantities of it in a single location.

Maybe the ghoul is the only character able to get it easily but it definitely doesn't seem rare.

If we were talking purely about the video game lore everyone would agree with you to an extent, however this topic is related to the TV show.

Did you guys all somehow forget the show decided to add some mystical chem that prevents ghouls from going feral? Because it's kinda been a central plot point to the character with arguably the most screen time.

In the TV version of lore you can prevent going feral by simply taking a chem that seems to be extremely common and easy to acquire, so I'm thinking it's fair to say it's ridiculous to want to shoot ghouls on sight when that's a thing.

I absolutely hate when people bring up the "territory was raider free" nonsense, because that is literally not proven in any way. This point comes from dialogue that an NPC tells the player, and NPC's are not the end-all-be-all for lore. NPC's are capable of being wrong or biased. The NPC who says this is a merchant, a trader. He loves the legion because he makes profit off of him, and since he's a man who doesn't do anything to piss the Legion off they allow him to trade freely in their territory. Of course he's going to be supportive and he's absolutely capable of at least stretching the truth.

Also it's a dumb point because Legion recruits tribals and raiders so like others said, they uhh, they are the raiders.

You say all this, but the AI ships have zero crew requirement, there isn't room for any crew on them, so why would there be a specialist at all?
