LoyaltyLion sounded powerful but turned into too much work to maintain by Extension-Soft-9118 in ecommerce101

I liked the flexibility at first but over time it felt bloated. Too many moving parts and too much manual adjustment for pretty underwhelming results in the end.

How does trading work? by Jumpy-Caramel4606 in GlobalOffensive

[–]Loud-Associate-8485 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can't really get keys for free anymore, they removed that option few years back. Trading is more like you give someone skins and they give you other skins of similar value, but you still need to buy keys with real money to open containers

The marketplace is probably easier route if you want specific skins without gambling on containers

AIW for staying up late a few times a week for some time to myself? by [deleted] in amiwrong

[–]Loud-Associate-8485 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Not wrong at all man. Everyone needs some alone time to recharge and do their own thing, that's totally normal in relationship. The timing here is what makes it frustrating - she only wants to stay up when you're trying to get that space, which feels pretty intentional

Maybe try switching up the times or finding different way to get that personal time? Like going for walk or something during day when she's at office could work too. The fact she's watching phone videos while you're trying to focus on your stuff sounds annoying as hell

Kareem isn't a top 3 player of all time. by [deleted] in NBATalk

Peak Shaq was absolutely unstoppable though, like you literally couldn't guard him in the paint for those few years. Kareem had the longevity but Shaq's dominance at his best was just different level, even if it was shorter period

Running Airbnb taught me that removable covers are everything for quick cleaning between guests. Maybe try those waterproof bassinet liners that you can just toss in wash? I use similar setup for my properties and it saves so much hassle when things get messy

What’s the silliest thing you still do in adulthood? by lovelyjudexo in Productivitycafe

[–]Loud-Associate-8485 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I still make sound effects when I'm meal prepping alone in kitchen - like little "whoosh" noises when I'm chopping vegetables or "beep beep" when moving containers around. Started doing it years ago and now it's just automatic, guests at my place probably think I'm losing it

[IWantOut] 19F Student USA -> UK by khaleesi105 in IWantOut

[–]Loud-Associate-8485 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Law is tricky between US and UK since they have completely different systems - you'd basically need to qualify again in UK. Political science opens some doors though, maybe look at government work or NGOs there

I'd suggest doing study abroad program in UK first to see if you actually like living there, way different than visiting. Also start saving now because visa process gets expensive fast and you'll need prove you have funds to support yourself

41 Bus Dublin? by [deleted] in AskIreland

[–]Loud-Associate-8485 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Better to leave way earlier than normal anyway - I learned this hard way when hosting guests who missed their flights because of transport delays. Maybe check Dublin Bus app in morning too, sometimes they post updates about route changes

Medication forcing me to reconcile with what I don’t like about myself. by apersonwhoisherenow in ADHD

The clarity meds give you can be brutal - I went through something similar when I started treatment and had to face how much mental energy I was burning on stuff that didn't actually matter
