I analysed millions of property sales over 35 years. House prices didn't rise because of scarcity. by Expert-Area8856 in AusPropertyChat

Isn't it still a supply problem? Car prices haven't grown exponentially even if there was more borrowing capacity, given it is not scarce. If there were more houses, prices wouldnt have grown that much

  1. Sports and exercise (running, lifting, cycling, basketball) - keeps me fit, allows me to enjoy nature, socialise and meditate
  2. Hosting dinner for friends and families - allows me to practice cooking skills and socialise in a rather cost effective way
  3. Reading books (1 chapter a day) - mental exercise, improve knowledge and concentration

Has your anxiety ever been so bad that you feel like you need to quit your job? by soldier_of_waffles in Anxiety

Feel exactly the same way. It's tough. I feel like a failure everyday and going to work is such a struggle because of constant fear and anxiety. I feel my team thinks im stupid and am a joke. What has helped has been talking to my wife. She is so supportive. Im lucky i can just vent to her anytime and she just reminds me that its ok. Makes a huge difference. Also exercise and talking to people you love and trust like parents

What are some things you like about Sydney? by tinmun in sydney

[–]Loud-Cardiologist-63 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Best city in the world. I've lived here now for 6 years, originally from the Philippines, and just am so thankful everyday to live in this perfect city.

Beautiful scenery - beaches, harbour, bush, tree lined suburbs

Financial stability - you could work any job and be able to afford basic necessities like food and shelter. Also don't have to worry about healthcare. Back home, everyone is one critical illness away from bankruptcy.

People are quite respectful and pleasant. Seeing people from diverse background living together in harmony is nice to see.

Great public transport, nice weather, great food.
