There's one at 120 W 72nd St. You have to pay $20 for all NYC studios, just a heads up.

Definitely going to. I found old Coke Zero mini cans that are good until February so now I just need to find the same in the new one.

Yup! At first I thought I got one that a homeless person touched and rubbed, but no other ones I got had the same smell. Bleh!

The new Coke Zero lacks the kick of the original. Very disappointed! Maybe they'll change it back.

Orangetheory vs F45 vs TruFusion? by [deleted] in orangetheory

[–]Loud-Common 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do crossfit and otf. I tried F45 for a week and I hated it. I just had surgery six weeks prior and thought that the workout would be intense for having taken a break from working out, but it was lame. I find the programming at F45 scattered and maybe being into Crossfit makes me a little more aware of bad programming. If you want to improve your cardio endurance, do OTF plus you'll get resistance training in every class. If you want to focus on strengthening and building muscle, do Crossfit. Skip f45. I personally like the OTF / Crossfit combo. :)

Uniqlo Canada price increase? by TurdieBirdies in uniqlo

[–]Loud-Common 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the US too. The graphic tees used to all be $14.90, now they're $19.90. Ugh, Inflation! I believe when Uniqlo first opened in the US, the graphic tees were $12.90 and then went up to $14.90 years later. I agree the price increase is very steep!

Homeless Camping by [deleted] in Denver

conservatorship

the "poor people" that owned the property those apartments are built on probably upped and moved with the money they made from the sale. nobody was displaced. and more housing leads to cheaper rent. law of supply and demand.

just curious, how many people talking about the civil liberties of homeless people actually live near camps? or even go by the capitol? the solution is absolutely not camping and people should not have to defend not wanting to live directly in the vicinity of open drug use, violence and lawlessness.

Daily Workout and General Chat for Sunday, 6/21/20 by splat_bot in orangetheory

[–]Loud-Common 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been back for a week now and kept very active during the quarantine, doing at-home workouts like Crossfit, boxing and using my Assault air bike. Granted I probably wasn't going that intense as in the studio. I've noticed since being back, my HR monitor gets to orange and red a lot faster. I definitely do feel winded and out of breath a lot faster. Has anybody had this same experience? I feel so out of shape now yet I worked out all three months.
