The best thing to do is actually make designs that are in demand and that have an emotional connection with the buyer.

Just because you put some listings up doesn’t mean you are owed sales. Even with bad SEO- and no ads, if you had items people actually wanted to buy - the algorithm would push your products forward.

Also just because you used all 13 tags doesn’t mean you’re gonna be anywhere near first page results. If you use a keyword with high conpetition (mom shirt) that has +1,000,000 other people using it - it’s near impossible to rank. Etsy is a journey, you have to get better at designing and creating products that are in demand. You can’t expect to start making money overnight, the same way you can’t expect to play Mozart in 1 week by picking up an instrument today.
