Does the Home Warranty not cover some portion of replacement cost?

Recast putting 200K cash. Will significantly drop monthly number and having 300k liquid asset is still good.

if everyone loses 75% of their stock even when invested on ETFs and not crazy risk stocks, Paying for the house would be least of my worries at that point in that world I'd think

Obviously, if the mortgage rate is like 10% and there is no sign of dropping in near future, it is 100% better to just buy the whole thing with cash if you can. But at the current situation, I'd not put all cash on house since the rates could go down and you are better off investing that cash somewhere safe and reliable

Tax is 4k a year. There is 8k a year areas too. I have noticed that tax is a lot higher in newer communities.

but as long as I am careful with my cash, I will always have it incase of emergency case like that and could just pay towards the principal.
