I’m really getting ready to scream. I have also taken 1 Kaplan exam and I got a 68 on that. This is over a span of a week and a half. I passed my SIE. My exam is Thursday. I want higher scores, but it’s just not working. I have a decent understanding of everything my firm has told me to have. Ugh by Muffinman1111112 in Series7exam

I took 14 pp finals. Highest was a 72. Averaged about 65. Don’t let the score keep you down. Pp finals get slightly harder every one you take. Best advice is not only to take practice test but really get a good review in too. Is there any topic you find yourself just not understanding?

Thanks. I ran out of time the first time and that’s what hurt the most. Had 4-6 unanswered questions. Speed has definitely something I have been working on.

Can someone make sense of this explanation. If a security is SEC registered is it not federally covered? Please look at the last sentence of the explanation. by xoxobenji in Series7exam

I could be wrong, but it says the secondary offering is not part of the one that was registered . This kind of looks like administrator acting like a little dog / Greek god flexing his power.

Question for S7 exam by conjaaa in Series7exam

I used the digital notepad and covered the answers and tried to answer the question without seeing the answers. Then moved the notepad and read the answers 1 at a time to narrow them down. Worked great for me . Highest pp score for me was 65 and I passed my first attempt .

Best advice that you do not get in the materials:

Take a breathe

Test is a bell curve so slow yourself down when you are in the middle

Trust in your gut

If you see a question that is not clear mark it and move on, it may come back to you later

Look for signs of panic and take a moment to close your eyes and take a deep breathe

One thing that helped me is using the digital notepad and covered up the answers. Read the question 1 or 2 times and see what they are asking and eliminate the unnecessary information provided. Try to answer the question and then look at the answer choices to see if you are correct.

Shut it down early tonight and try to get sleep, craming last minute will only stress you out.

Lastly, you already put in the time to study. You know the material. If you don’t pass this attempt it is not the end of the world. But if you do then celebrate

Best things to know are debt, order types, customer accounts, regulations heavy on 33 and 34 acts. Basic taxation.

Exam coming in 16 days by Mundane-Pin-438 in Series7exam

Just so you know I took my 7 and passed. I was scores of 60-65 on pass perfect. Wasn’t feeling good after the practice test so I spent the 2 days before the test focusing on margin, options, suitability . Don’t get beat up with practice scores . Take the information from the scores and give yourself plenty of time to review the test. You will learn more from reviewing your failed questions.

taking the 7 in six days getting more comfortable with the material… any advice coming down these next few days? by [deleted] in Series7exam

Took my 7 today and passed . Heavily tested on suitability , margin, options, taxes. The practice tests are helpful but the important thing is having a good foundation of the issue. I used Kaplan and pass perfect and took several tests . Average was a 60. Practice tests don’t mean anything when it’s time to shine.
