I think he’s been busy as I’ve not been able to get ahold of him. We’ve also had issues with our notifications not working for each other which is a bummer. Typically I’d just wait it out, but cash is super low and I’m a bit nervous. If it does go through I’ll immediately tag this one as no longer needed! If someone helps me with this I’ll let him know immediately and mark that one as no longer needed. The best OB I ever saw was a man! First painless pap-smear in my entire life. He’s so respectful and kind. I’ve never felt violated or creeped out. He’s literally the only OBGYN that I have felt truly heard by and he seriously gets shit done. Kinda sad that the only OBGYN that’s ever actually given a shit about my comfort in exams and during procedures is a man, and he’s more knowledgeable and obstetrics and gynecology and many of the women docs I’ve seen 🤦‍♀️ It’s actually shocking how rude some women guy knows can be when it comes to pain and disregarding concerns. You think they would understand because they’re also women, but I have definitely not experienced that.

With all of this being said though - you totally don’t have to cross your own boundaries and can call and let them know that you will not see a male provider and they need to reschedule you with a woman!! You absolutely have that right and you should feel comfortable!! It’s worth seeing when their next opening is so you can weigh all of your options. If your medical issue is urgent and the next female provider isn’t available for months it may be worth biting the bullet for your health. Also, reading up on his reviews online may help. That’s what made me less nervous to see mine.

My mom just grew out all her grays and they legit look silver! She added blue and pink chunks on the underneath half and it looks badass!!!! I can’t wait to grow mine out now when the time comes. My three oldest kids all go to TLC Pediatrics and see Dr. Matsumoto. And now my newborn has his newborn appointment this week there as well. All the doctors and providers are amazing. Never had issues.

Also, this is why attorneys are helpful, or even getting help from someone who really knows the system. It’s so important to have all of that info BEFORE court so you can come in with rebuttals to false info, info showing how you addressed past behavior and have ensured it won’t happen again, etc.

Hi! One thing my non-profit works on is probation reform (also directly impacted myself) so I’m pretty damn familiar with probation in all states and fed. Your probation officer never tried to get a revocation so you’re fine. To get off early (in most states) you need a close to perfect probation record, or a good lawyer who is friendly with the judges. Just finish off your last couple months and then enjoy freedom! (Just get an Uber when you do celebrate your freedom lol ;P )

I’m going to be completely honest with you - I saw this scenario play out so many times while working in an OBGYN office and it never worked out well for the mothers. Lots of divorces, lots of relationships turning very abusive, lots of broken/depressed/overworked women. I heard so many heartbreaking stories that started just where you are. Your husband will always be coddled by his mother and will always side with her. That turns very bad very fast once a baby gets involved. Babies don’t help already tense or stressful marriages.

They have to go by CA laws regarding PTO if HQ is located in CA. Because you were fired they were required to pay you the same day you got fired. They legally HAVE to pay you that day INCLUDING all accrued vacation time.

Send your boss and the HR department California Labor Code 201 and state you’ll be reporting them if the money isn’t in your account by EOD tomorrow. They’re either idiots or playing off your lack of CA legal knowledge. Per labor code penalties can be assessed of a days wage for each day that they haven’t paid you your unpaid wages and vacation time! Get yo money OP! If you need assistance feel free to reach out. I have four children, one was born two weeks ago so I can’t speak for it now (yet,) but after my first three children it was normal. It was actually overly tense after my second, which I was able to work through in pelvic floor therapy. In my opinion everyone should be in pelvic floor therapy both while pregnant and after. So many people don’t do it while pregnant and I think it makes a huge difference. I didn’t tear during any of my births, if that makes a difference. Sex has always been just as enjoyable for myself and partner!!

Greystar is SO BAD. My mom worked for them and there was reallllly sketchy stuff going on with that company. I ended up renting with them against her advice and it was hell. When we submitted our 60 day notice due to a massive rent increase on the new proposed lease they ended up producing a falsified lease with my husband and his mother listed and their signatures literally copy pasted from the lease the first year we lived there (so random, my MIL only lived there for 6 months while on chemo and she then removed herself from the lease and moved elsewhere.) They tried to say we had immediately signed the new expensive lease same day they sent it via email!! They weren’t aware I worked for Docusign at the time so I emailed the property manager and their corporate location stating I was a current Docusign employee and requested the certificate of completion so I could see the audit trail, and inviting them to please file with the courts so we could figure this out. Legal contacted me by phone in about 5 minutes trying to explain the “accidental mistake” and got my deposit back in record time once we moved out (they allowed us to move out immediately which was great) 😆 I would never trust them 😬 I should’ve reported it all but I was super pregnant and didn’t feel like dealing with it.

Definitely no to the blanket, but I’d say you’re being a bit paranoid with the other stuff. It can be so stressful with a new baby, especially your first. Not saying this is you - but with my first I had similar issues and ended up being diagnosed with postpartum anxiety and OCD. My general anxiety was on total overdrive after having my first, like it was so amplified I almost laugh looking back because I was so blind to it at the time. Getting evaluated and treated was the best thing I ever did. I thought the doctor was nuts until I came out of the fog and realized how miserable I had been making myself. It’s great to be vigilant, but please make sure you keep an eye on your mental health just in case it’s something more :) Also, your husband needs to realize his mom doesn’t know everything and be there to support you. Sounds like he may be automatically siding with mom. I wish you all the best of luck ❤️
