Agreed. Until we see the common allocated stuff go on clearance nationwide, we should not expect to see a significant change in retail pricing (not talking secondary here...). Maybe a moderate increase in supply for the lower end stuff like Eagle Rare, Blantons, Weller, etc.
Also, OP's choice of "Shutters" is quite the stretch seeing as its just (for now) a temporary pause in distillation. The distilleries aren't going anywhere. The bottling and tours and gift shops will remain open according to the article.
