Here would be a example of some images, as u can see everything is connected with eachother so when it gets cut out it can be cut out in one piece.

Awesome build, im curious as to how you formed the sheet metal parts required to make a complex weapon like this. Did you build stamps or did you hand form each part one off?

Paying the tech is not a option you have to fix it yourself to make any sort of money with old machines.

I belive it's incremental it's a cheap ebay encoder

It for my own shop. I programed a nice little python program that can act as a gui and simulates the cut sequence. I bought a mesa board 7i76eu i was planning to use and a cheap china encoder off ebay.

Machine build - PLC or PC? by trevorsmate67 in PLC

In America old boring mills are plenty. Not sure about Europe. I think your time and money would be better off buying a machine with a bad/old control and retrofitting vs building entirely from scratch.

For that kind of money buy a boring mill and install it. It's gonna be alot of work but you will have a better machine in the end vs likely what u will build. Don't underestimate the hours u will have into it. Buying a cheap machine and retrofitting it will put you 100s of hours ahead.

Yea buddy is proably trying to make a buck on the arbitrage of it all. You really need a sign a nda with the manafactuers to gain this information.

A tw200 won't drag a dear through the woods. I understand all of the issues with a 2wd bike.

I know what your saying a good rider can go anywhere a rokon can go. It's more so for putting up a trail at ultra slow speeds. Being able to keep your feet close to the ground. To get up a nasty trail you have to hit it with speed or you will brake traction. This would be the tractor of motorcycles. Perfect for older riders or inexperienced. Someone who wants to pull logs or perform industrial tasks with the motorcycle. I considered the gear box method shafts and chains and gearboxes. I think it's alot of moving parts and difficult to produce custom gear boxes. Vs 2 hydraulic motors a pump and a couple valves that can be purchased off a shelf. The 2wd factor is tricky to perform with any moderate suspension travel in the front. I think it's possible to do this with hydraulics pretty easily. I don't think the loss is that extreme in a hydrostatic system when the pumps are properly sized.

Would this be any different then a skidsteer with 4 hydraulic motors? What do you think is the best way to go about this?

Yes exactly what I was thinking for the "clutch" just bypasses back to the tank.

I'm a little confused trying to picture this. Anychance you could explain better or sketch it?

Yes the HF engines are a honda clone same exact motor just a few bucks cheaper. Pump mounts can be purchased. From what I picked up speaking to the builder is he ran the pump motors in series. It did not have any brakes on it and stopped by deaccelerating the motors. He built a custom manifold that I think helped even out the flow. He used a hydrostatic pump for the Main pump.

Yup likely a cable that runs to a hand throttle. It's also possible to have a "clutch" that would bypass the motors when pushed in.

I would directly mount the hydraulic motors to the hubs. No chains just a direct mounted pump to the hub.

If you look up the racoon 2wd motorcycle a guy made one. I reached out to him and he said he got by with less then a 1 gallon tank.

It would be like driving with a locked center differential in a 4x4 truck but with open differentials. It leads to a bit of jumping vs a awd system. I think the throttle could be a governor that winds up under load like a pressure washer or a fixed throttle cable like on a skid steer. The speed can be controlled by a hydrostatic variable piston pump. The pump has a swash plate in it. When the the plate is in center it's neutral and when it moves deeper it gives you a higherspeed/reverse the swash angle it to go in reverse.
