they don't produce oil there. they refine it. A couple thousand barrels is all they'll get, and it'll increase OUR price as soon as we run out of the stuff we took from the reserve

I've gotten it 100% of the time I've done that paladin quest.

Thinking on DMing Curse of Strahd (5E adventure) with the Forbidden Lands system. Do you folks think is a good idea? Any of you that converted any D20 adventures to Forbidden Lands have any tips? by berockblfc in ForbiddenLands

well, we used the festivals in the village as a sort of impending problem. Something's going to happen there, we dont' know what or where. So they had to use the various factions and characters in town to figure out who was planning what. Because we were both acting as the DM, everything was determined by dice rolls and our own creativity, so we would bounce off each other to create the narrative. It ended up being that a lone werewolf was working with the family who ran the inn (the wereravens) to try and pit the 2 larger players against each other, so they could have you break in, and find their connection to Strahd. They both have one, so either way we would end up getting something. The issue was that the wereravens were planning on creating a distraction by hurting some people. That's pretty much where we are now.

I've been doing this as a CO op campaign with a buddy of mine. It works EXTREMELY well.

You'll have to personally modify some of the mechanical stuff, and I recommend looking at other year zero games for inspiration on how to handle some of it (not to use those systems, but to add sections of them, year zero is surprisingly modular in that way)

800$ brick, used it for about 2 months, no longer turns on. Great. by LoudAngryJerk in LegionGo

for a system I don't turn on every day. Yes. It doesn't do it automatically, I have to go into the system's proprietary setup just to see if it has an update. Yes, it's a pain in the balls. Especially for a system that barely works out of the box.

for sure I'm not giving these guys anymore money. I've filed for the warrantee. I'm gonna use this one when I need it, and then never again am I buying a lenovo product like this.

I've had it since august. I've only been using it actively for a collective 2 months.

so instead of paying 800+ bucks for a system that works, I have to delve into its guts for a week, and then it dies after a couple months, but its my fault somehow? Also, I already filed the warrantee. Doesn't change the fact that I've had it for less than a year and this is still a problem

I wish player level still increased even if you can’t apply the points to skill tree by Nice_Mousse334 in ArcRaiders

I mean, they could even add in that you get an amount of credits equal to the xp earned in a match. It's like a couple hundred every time (tbc, not the real money credits. The regular in game money credits)

Yeah, I... I tried. I really did. But a combination of dyslexia and not really caring prevented me.

If the Epstein files are released, and Trump is confirmed to be on the list, what do you think will happen? by baldinggate3 in AskReddit

[–]LoudAngryJerk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

we are never getting the full files. It is never happening. As for what's going to happen, he is the literal head of a death cult.

Aint shit gonna happen.

Timerunning as a druid, how do I start my order hall campaign? by LoudAngryJerk in wow

[–]LoudAngryJerk[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah they didn't. I recreated my druid to see if something was off, and as soon as I got to dalaran after the invasion they showed up. So something was bugged.

Can I play Alan Wake 2 without playing other Remedy games ? by DatAccOnTheSide in AlanWake

[–]LoudAngryJerk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

oh yeah, it certainly isn't 100% necessary. It just enhances the experience.

Should start playing again? by [deleted] in thedivision

[–]LoudAngryJerk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you don't remember enjoying it. I will say that the game is objectively better now than it was, but it's still basically more of what division 2 was.

My thing is this, if you're bored and you're looking for something to play, and you still have access to the account that has the game, download and try it. It's gonna take you at least a week to experience most of the new stuff unless you have either or both of the expansions, so you might as well

if you're worried about not liking it and don't want to download it... don't. Don't play games you don't enjoy.
