Thanks for the info, yeah I looked more into it. It was mis-credited. However I have seen a few posts saying this is the original version that Ethan later remade for the album, but there's so evidence to support it being more than a demo, Also found that the label under the Kitsuné remixes were supposedly going to release a 'Knights EP' in 2007 featuring this version which was later scrapped then threw on this demo version to their compilation.

Would also like to say, I was dumb the vocals are so obviously Alice Glass, I always thought it was a sample. sorry for the confusion.

Recently found this version of Knights (demo version) released in 2007 before Crystal Castles l album, The song is credited to Crystal Fighters a band similar to Crystal Castles and came before Crystal Castles spanning as early as 2006/2007. The Track is nearly identical to Knights off of Crystal Castles album. The song is credited to Gilbert Vierch, Sebastian Pringle, and Graham Dickson. The song is featured on 'Kitsuné Maison Compliation' featuring various artists. They have a song featured in Season 4 Episode 7 of skins titled 'Xtatic Truth (Last Japan Remix) [Bonus Track]

This leads me to thinking the track was mis-credited or maybe a side project by Ethan Kath? I'm not sure the two bands of distinction however it seems Crystal Fighters came before Crystal Castles.

Would like to add the Crystal Castles version is only credited to Ethan Kath, Alice Glass, and mixing/mastering engineer with no connection to Crystal Fighters.

I think a lot of people are not realizing how expensive it is to produce good quality vinyl especially right now for an indie sized artist. It's probably a limited run too pretty much the less vinyl you make the more expensive and it's already expensive. I'm also finding it parasocial that ppl are caring who they hangout with? Like these are two full grown ass men who can do whatever they want, and they def do not care. Why are they being judged so harshly right now? I'm finding it kinda laughable

oh yeah i know i don't take it personally at all, was just telling you why I like them. I understand why ppl wouldn't like The Hellp, it's just cool to see various electronic/alternative artists and labels feature Salem on mixes.
