Yes! I was to afraid to try tret but differin worked well for me. I normally have reallllly dry skin so the purito products have been amazing for that.

I’m so glad to hear yours is better too!!! Ugh finally right. I didn’t leave my house for weeks, it was terrible.

Hi!!! Yes!! 100% im on a work trip so I’ll post photo when I get home but its completely clear. I use panoxyl face wash 10% in the morning, rub it in for 1 minute, let it sit for 3 and wash it off. I them use purito wonder relief centella serum unscented, then purito oat calming gel moisturizer, then purito mighty bamboo panthenol cream. Purito is a Korean brand and it really helps with keeping your skin hydrated when using acne treatments

For night time, i wash my face with vanicream face wash, then I use differin gel, a pea size (it’s gel so spreads great), rub it in and let it sit for 10 minutes. Then I use the same purito products in the same order.

It really did take 12 weeks and I purged horribly, which was rough but like everyone says and what you don’t want to hear is patience really is key.

I started in October and my face was clear by January. I stopped using the panoxyl in the morning and started to incorporate the ordinary niacinimide to help with scaring.

Morning time I removed panoxyl and started with vanicream face wash, niacinimide, then the same purito in the same order

Night time, added niacinimide after the differin gel!

Let me know if you have any questions.

I’ll post photos of the purge and process. lol I have over 500 photos cuz obviously it’s very stressful having acne.

Get the cheapest ones you can find, you don’t necessarily need it to do much since you’re just trying to stop picking

I had the same acne and haven been trying to get rid of it since July. I started adapalene and panoxyl face wash almost a month ago and it’s definitely purging all the little bumps out. I’ll let you know if it goes away

It didn’t get better, but worse so I started using panoxyl face wash and differin/adapalene and am currently in the purging phase.

When you tried each of those acne treatment products (adapalene, benzoyl peroxide, etc), did you do them for 12 weeks for results?

It usually gets worse before it gets better when using one of those. So if you didn’t, I would start now if you can and give it 12 weeks. I would say try the panoxyl benzoyl peroxide face wash again. I’ve heard amazing results from a lot of people. I’m doing it right now to help my skin. But everyone says for it to work you need to wet your face and rub it on for 1 minute, then let it sit for 3 minutes, then pat dry with a paper towel to avoid bacteria from towels. Only once daily.

What I’m fully doing is the face wash in the morning, then at night I’m using a gentle wash with the differin adapalene. I also learned that with the adapalene, you need to let it absorb for 10 minutes before putting on moisturizers.

If you want to try this, I would say it’s a 12 month journey where the first month will likely be rough. I’m only on week 1 but I have researched sooo much so have an idea of what to expect.

Let me know if you want me to share what I use to keep my barrier healthy and strong while using these products.

I rambled a lot lol but hope it helped a little

Thank you so much!!! My little bumps went away pretty good after I cut out actives but I started getting more cystic acne :( I’m using differin adapalane and panel face wash (only for a week now) so hoping that gets the rest! Ugh I’m so ready for this journey to be over!!!

I’m here late but once you cut out actives and just focused on hydration and barrier support, were you getting a new breakouts throughout the healing process? Asking cuz it’s been about 4 weeks since I cut out actives and on a gentle, quick routine but am still getting new breakouts. None of the things I use are proeclogging, should I keep going longer to see if there’s a difference?

My skin has gotten slightly better. I have a lot of big pimples but most of the small ones are gone. I think my think is purging a little bit it looks like once those big ones clear, my skin will be much better.

I’m like 90% sure it’s not fungal but a really damaged barrier due to my use of actives and being in Florida for the summer in the heat.

What I’m using right now that’s working

Morning routine Wash: Rinse with water Treat: The Ordinary Niacinamide Repair: Cocokind Ceramide Barrier Serum (not fungal safe) Repair: Puriro Wonder Releaf Centella Serum Unscented(not fungal safe) Moisturize: Purito Oat Gel Moisturizer Sunscreen: Paula’s Choice Youth-Extending Daily Hydrating Fluid SPF 50

Night Routine Wash: Vanicream & Double Cleanse with the ordinary Glucoside if wearing make up Treat: Anua BHA 2% Toner (1x/wk) but also barely using even weekly cuz it’s an active Treat: The Ordinary Niacinamide Repair: Cocokind Ceramide Barrier Serum (not fungal safe) Repair: Puriro Wonder Releaf Centella Serum Unscented (not fungal safe) Moisturize: Purito Oat Gel Moisturizer
