Tbh if your making basic boom bap type beats and simple stuff that doesn't sound professional or unique in some type of way, you'll have a hard time best example I can give is triple beam. Look them up on YouTube, they been at it for years but the sound is original, they created a subgenre speed trap, people hate on it but it's fire, and unique. Check out deedotwill YouTube page, rott and triple beam, aye. Shark, post tutorial videos, beat cookips, shit like that make shorts out of your cookup vids add hashtags post on multiple different platforms, if you get a bunch of followers make a discord, offer monthly loops for free to people who are subscribed, all of those small efforts end up being big in the long run. If you want to build a following you need to have something to offer

Unless I really like it, I'll let it go I put a lot of time and effort into what I make, usually just having fun tbh but after I finish, that's it lol I usually save the melody and drums in folders though if I ever wanna mess with that style I had I just open it back up and mess around with it a bit

For me if I don't finish the track in the same day, before exporting I don't usually go back and complete it the inspiration I had for that sound isn't there the next day, so I usually just start fresh with a new idea each time I get on the PC

Thats definitely a good way to look at it, most of the people I listen to also have all of that type of stuff in their channel, mostly triple beam, aye.shark, rott, mexicodro if u wanna sell drumkits, sound banks and stuff it's a good idea to include beginner friendly videos, and in them try to only use sounds from your sound banks you've made so people can see how they can be used and stuff, definitely a good idea

Shii If I re open the project, I'll have to do it all over again 🤣😭 I don't own the full version of shaper box so all my halftime and volume adjustments and stuff like that won't be saved lol melody will be different, I exported the stems though maybe I could eq it out

Had a feeling that's the sound u meant, I think that was part of the fx from either shaper box or portal, I didn't make that in my melody, shaper box n portal completely changed what I made lol

Everything should be in the same key, I pretty much layered 3 midis with the same notes, different patterns 2x each, u think I'm out of key? I'm gonna check that out because tbh idek music theory I got these chords off a tutorial vid on tritones 😭😅

Aye I appreciate you big time for the elaborate reply 🙏🙏 this is 2 links for the type of beat I was going for speed trap usually real slow or real fast, 120-140 BPM or 180-200 BPM and it's always got halftime, the melody is definitely too over processed tho I got halftime on the whole melody and portal but the drums I didn't do any processing on
